hey John, pro tip! Get the Bose in ear earbuds and put them on aware.. there’s two settings, quiet and aware. When it’s unaware, you can hear everything around you, but it still cuts the sound of the exhaust down by 50% and they’re really comfortable. I don’t even notice I have them on. I have the Bassani Road rage 2 into one on my 22 fat boy with S&S camchest kit.. and it’s loud when you get on it! Those earbuds are saving my hearing

Live right by the Essex Street Exit @ 6:09. Sadly a rider passed right at that exit sign when he collided into another car. Only mentioning this as I love the dedication to safety on your channel. Especially the message that you don't wear ear plugs or music when riding. I think it's insane that a lot of these 1000cc riders are blasting music and ripping at 160mph while also lane splitting.

Bro, earplugs these days are designed to lower wind noise but still allow sound through. In fact my comms system is actually clearer with my earplugs in now. I also rode without for ages but getting quality motorcycle specific earplugs with DB killers in them are the way my guy 🫡

I knew if I started watching this channel I’d be ruined.. all I can think about is getting the sport bike now.. only trouble is I live in Hawaii and if I get one, I’m definitely going to jail.. there’s nowhere here I can do 130 miles an hour without them, locking me up and throwing away the key! 😂A Harley just makes much more sense here.. Hey John, I watch all your videos and enjoy all of them. I think the exhaust sounds great! If you think it sounds great and it doesn’t drone out in your helmet then it should be good. I have a 2023 Z900 with a LeoVince LV Pro slip on with a mid pipe and a Cat delete. I thought it was going to be too loud also but it’s not. I think it sounds great. You can definitely hear your exhaust now better compared to the other muffler. I definitely would give it more time and see how you like it. Safe riding. Richard Boutilier from New Brunswick, Canada

With earplugs you will still hear horns & people talking. You'll still hear the wind & exhaust it just isn't AS bad. I avoided earplugs for a while because of the same reason. I wanted to hear if a car was slamming on brakes and sliding, horns, everything. With earplugs you can hear all of that. One could argue that you can things better because of the noise reduction from the wind. I recommend the "Loop" plugs

I try to be good neighbor like this as well! I have the Austin Racing GP1R full titanium and it's about 100-110db at idle with a noise meter. When I leave very early, I stop a church parking lot up the road to let it warm up. Just a reminder that not everyone loves our loud bikes! 😁🏁🏁🏁

Sorry my friend, we all want to be able to hear “horns & stuff” when riding. Ear plugs do not block out those sounds so much that you can’t hear them. In fact, they enable you to hear them better because they block out the wind noise and the exhaust. I’m close in age to you so I can say this…your hearing is too important…wind noise will destroy your hearing quickly. Please use ear plugs! And keep the good videos coming - the bike sounds amazing - not too loud.
