hi there, I just bought my cricut iron today. when you iron big projects like I mean really big do you have to set the timer on the iron or do you just iron until you know feel it’s done? Sorry I never used a heat press before. i’m going with the flat melt as thats what I’ve always done.

Hey hey! I don't use the timer function at all with beads. I will when I use it for something like ironing patches but the beads have different melting points. I melt until I am satisfied.
