Farida!!!!!! Ya'll as I type this Im wearing a plastic cap with this mask in and let me tell you I have never felt anything like this before. I just used a small teaspoon mixed with my mielle organics rosemary mint DC along with jbco, argon, olive oil, rosemary, clove, honey and mixed it all in. I first made a paste of the powder and I let it sit. As I applied it to my hair it felt like melted marshmallow on my hair and it was curling up like crazy especially in the back of my head. I haven't rinsed it out yet because Im up cleaning and Im gonna sit under my dryer but I already know my hair is gonna be hella soft when I get done! This is my new favorite mask..I just wanted to write this because I have followed Farida and definitely know you put alot of quality into this! God Bless XO

I actually like the fact that henna elongates my kinks, it makes it easier to keep my hair stretched which reduces breakage for me. It's all about length retention. I want to use Alma for growth. Is there a way I can use Alma that doesn't tighten my curls?

Thank you much! I purchased the Fenugreek Elixir and Amala powder in November. So far, I’ve had two applications of the Amla mask and it does define my curl pattern and makes my hair feel stronger. I’ve also been been applying the elixir to my scalp. I’m excited to see results in the months to come. Noticeably, I’ve had results with the rosemary tea rinse/spray twice a day weekly. My hair grew 4 inches since October. I’m very consistent with the rosemary spray which have also lessened shedding. Thank you so much for your knowledge! My hair type is 3a/b very similar to yours.

@@myhairsense Purchase fresh Rosemary, boil the rosemary for about five minutes, and let cool/sit until it’s a reddish brown color. Add to a spray bottle and store in your refrigerator when not using. I like to spray in my scalp mornings and evenings. (Curly Proverbs has videos on tea rinses) I can attest that Rosemary has worked for me.

Use a conditioner after your mask. That should rinse it all out. But, my question is.....Are you using CP products or another brand? Bcuz CP and Henna Sooq are the Absolute BEST and they are fine powders that are triple filtered. I NEVER have trouble washing the masks out of my hair. But when I used inferior brands they were very gritty and I had trouble washing them out. Quality matters! It's best to spend the extra money for high quality. You really do get what you pay for. Also, it depends on what you add to the powders and the quality of those products. If it's not a finely sifted and filtered powder, it will not mix well with the fine powders and you will have a gritty mixture. Just something to think about. 🤔

@@rachelcolin3115 hi this is the reply I got from Curly Proverb last year and it works for me. Hello Ana, thank you soo much for your feedback. With Amla, you do not have to let it sit before applying unlike henna. Also, the time frame for leaving it in is completely up to you and your schedule just don’t go to bed with it. Anything from 30mins to 4hrs is fine. If you feel the need to use both, I’d recommend going 50/50 on the powders rather than following one after the other back to back. I hope this helps. 1. Wash your hair 2. Apply the mask and let it sit 3. Rinse the mask 4. Use a rinse out conditioner (which will also help get the mask out of your hair). 5. Apply leave-ins and stylers.
