K2 Mode in Android Studio does not change how your project is compiled perse, that depends on Gradle settings and Kotlin version. However it affects IDE integrations that run your code as well, such as compose previews. Whether or not your build itself (running CI or pure Gradle task) uses K2 is a seperate setting (with Kotlin 2.0.0 enabled by default I believe).

Finally, the terminal is always clanky to use even after executing clear command the previous executed commands and its logs will sometimes show up again which makes it confusing to look at.The indexing part is also really great, whenever I reopen old project or newly cloned project I just want to quickly navigate through the code like function usage. It waste a lot of time waiting for indexing to finish.

@@zubairmalek257 prerequisites for all my premium courses are just kotlin and basics of Android dev (compose, activities, very basic architecture, etc.) The courses are kept up to date when there are breaking changes.

2:50 "Git integration"? Perhaps you mean Github integration? Because PRs and such are not provided by git itself AFAIK.

I want to use android studio eel version because it comes with xml layout files. But then, all the dependencies uses android sdk version 34 (android 11). Then, tried to update android gradle plugin for application and library to 8.4.0. But then it says, android studio eel version does not support android gradle plugin version 8.4.0. Downloaded android studio koala version and update the android studio instead of uninstalling it first. Then, I am good. The layout file is still xml. Good. By using wifi debugging, it is now easier and faster for me.

On my Apple Mac I recently getting this Error start running the code : " cannot execute binary file Process finished with exit code 126" Tried to set chown 755, but didn't work.
