In a year he has a White coat ceremony where all the young doctors to be get to wear doctors 🥼 coats put on by their parents…..it will bring back memories and I am sure Kenton and I will likely cry 😭

I hope as a future medical practitioner Khalid is mindful of the negative impact the Rockefeller/allopathic/big pharma is having on the current medical profession and patients and he can help work to improve the direction the medical 'industry' is heading. A practice including integrative medicine would be optimal. Something to consider.

😁If I ever grow up, I hope I'll be like Khalid; disciplined and focused. What an inspiration he is! He will be a excellent doctor. I would have to be starving to eat processed foods. Recently, I had a conversation about the salaries of professions involving children, while entertainers and professional athletes are paid so much in comparison; an Indication of what our society values. Habiba, watching this video brought me down memory lane with my youngest daughter who after finishing undergrad school in 2008 in Miami, we (the family) drove her to her grad school (UAB, Birmingham, Al) where she would study for the next 5 years, & graduate in 2014! She is now a scientist , living in Denver & works in Bolder, Co. We moved her into her very 1st apartment & did some food shopping & some furniture, just like you and your family did with Khalid. Wishing Khalid all the best in his Medical School & know that he will do well. Having his family support him, is the best thing, any child can ask for. Happy Tuesday!

As a mom I have been getting some kind of therapy about on how to accept and cope with the reality of how fast kids grow and move out of the parents' home, as they advance in their life journey. I get scared thinking about it. But watching ur family and how u embrace it. I feel little okay and start to accept it will happen to my family soon. As my kids are 14,15 n 7yrs. Yes I love thrifting mostly vintage things, books, China….but when it comes to furniture 🪑 we only get things made out of wood or things that can be cleaned off. I avoid fabric -because it holds odors, cigarette 🚬 smells, pet bugs 🐜 etc so we would not buy a fabric sofa 🛋️ used or thrifted. I guess if the furniture is going to be reupholstered then it is ok - but that is expensive- so in the end buying a new couch - if it is fabric is better in my opinion if you can afford it. I would buy a thrifted leather couch though because it can be wiped down.

Wow, what an amazingly talented family you have. You are a doctor, Kenton is a lawyer, your kids….well the apples have fallen far from trees….it’s funny, my girlfriend’s daughter-in-law is a Paediatrician, specializing in emergency room care, she was hired by Stanford Medical Children’s Hospital. Her husband, my friends son is a Professor of International Mediation, who has decided to be a home Dad of their twin girls and adorable son. Congrats Congrats Congrats!!! As both a family Doc and Financial Educator, I must admit financial eduction is truly lacking in our society. Unfortunately they dont teach us financial education in school which I think fails us all. I completely agree with some of your strategies to decrease accumulation of more higher education debt you mentioned. Thankfully I do get to teach families about planning for their children's education so they dont graduate with mountains of debt when they pursue higher education. We certainly dont want debt to become a way of life and it truly does not have to be. So Happy for Khalid anxious to see the type of doc he becomes.
