Was there that day with my old man and we both backed New Approach, great memories and what a ride by Manning!

unbelievable ride, the horse misbehaved the whole way, bucking and pulling, as he just wanted to go for it from the off.

New Approach pulled like a train for a mile and Kevin Manning had to duck and dive over the final 2 furlongs-horsemanship at it's finest !

Tartan Bearer would only accelerate when he seen another opponent in front of him. Cost him winning a G1 in his racing career which he deserved imo, although he was never gonna get it here New Approach deffo best 10f 3 yo.
