3:30 - "Why they need to do all that to the infected." In the Arknights universe, the Infected people are essentially treated like lepers, aka less than human, a waste of our oxygen, etc., by about 80-90% of the (uninfected) world population. Additionally, Kazimierz is essentially a warrior country. So any issues are mostly dealt with using force. And finally, Rhodes Island is not necessarily universally known, and even of those who DO know them, they don't necessarily agree with "our" mandate, to help the Infected. And so, regarding the Near Light trailer itself, Flametail (the redhead fox knight girl) is basically fighting for the rights of the infected (the people in the slums), so they can be treated better. (The commentator at the very beginning mentions how infected are competing for the 3rd time) However, the leaders of the country don't want that, so when they saw that she was doing well and actually had a shot at winning, they just went ahead and attacked the slums where she was at. And then because she has to help the survivors find a new place, she had to forfeit her place in the competition. Additionally, Nearl (the badass blonde who saved the day) is actually sort of a celebrity in that country, and Flametail looks up to her a lot (you can even see, at 1:17, she has a huge poster of her behind her). And so, when Nearl actually comes to save the day (and answers the question of "What is a knight?" that Flametail was asking herself), it's literally like your idol approving of your actions, and endorsing you. Very touching ❤

I mean, to send the infected to Rhodes Island, they would need to at least respect their existence enough to want to get rid of them in a "humane" way. If you have a rat infestation in your basement, are you going to try and work with the nearby animal shelter to try and take them, or are you gonna ask an exterminator to just get rid of them?

Flametail is based on the red squirrel... Also, to add, RI is also not that big as some would assume... Sending infected refugees to RI's landship would cost resources, which we know any Terran government would be reluctant to lend to the infected cause...

Ohh, so that's why. It's a shame that Rhodes island isn't as universally known, but at the same time, it makes sense that it isn't sadly, considering people's attitudes (in that world). Plus, the fact that Rhodes Island isn't as big as I thought... T^T Nearl is once again rising up the ranks for my biases in this game. Gosh, why is she sooooo darn cool and majestic?!?? Ahhhh, definitely a role model!

Whenever i see someone reacting to AK trailers, i eagerly wait for their Near Light reaction. Nearl, the Pinus Sylvestris and the whole vibe of that event is just chef kiss. Also yes, @07:22 , Nearl is the best. She was the main reason i started AK back when Global launched, and since getting her Radiant Knight version, she's never left my home screen or teamcomps. Full speed ahead!

The Nine Colored Deer video was actually a recreation based on the Chinese special from the 1980s "The Deer of Nine Colors" and they did such an amazing job!

10:54 yep the glow up in the trailers is really fun to watch. Also Integrated Strategies is a roguelike mode. This trailer is actually the 2nd iteration of the mode. The original roguelike mode was a limited time gamemode during the "Gavial The Great Chief Returns" event all the way back in 2020 (CN server, everyone else had to wait 6 months). The mode received so much praise and requests from every server to bring it back; a year and half later they dropped this trailer "Crimson Solitaire" and added it as a permanent, completely free cost mode. The mode came a battle pass of sorts (but free) which rewards you for playing it repeatedly as well as expansions over time that added new stages, endings, and items. Fast forward to the present, they just released the 4th version of Integrated Strategies to the global servers and still is a beloved mode by players. IS2 and IS3 are also still playable to its fullest as well. All have their own theme. IS2 is like a play, IS3 is fighting seaborn monsters that came from the Under Tides event and explores "What If" stories. IS4 is exploring the dangerous tundra of the north

Oh wow catched that one right from the owen 1 minute after upload (when i started writing this comment). Here it goes again, answering questions: 3:26 - It's deeply tighted up with Near Light event story. What i can tell is that the place where all these characters are is full of big corporations (due of knights sport competition going on here every 3 years) that have lots of influence but also corrupt and don't hesitate on doing some dirty moves on each other to win in tournament and gain more influence. These "dirty moves" includes but not limited with Assasinations, Bribering, Sabotages and so on. These moves are especially more sharp against Infected despite given chance for them to compete with non-infected this year. 8:11 - since Near Light event - yes. You can do that on the menu where you change your assistant. Not every BG is available tho, some needs to be unlocked or even bought. 9:24 - Nine-Colored Deer is one of old chinesse cartoons that is telling a story (or even a legend, not really sure) about a Nine-Colored Deer who i believe was like a guardian of nature from destructive cataclisms and other calamities. 10:38 - She's ONLY available during her special mini-event as a login bonus that is about to be reruned and very-very soon, like in next 2-3 events. I repeat - ONLY during her mini-event. She's one of True Limited operators. 16:27 - Modules are an extra upgrades for your operatiros that are depends on operators Branch (or subclass). They becomes available after you get your 1st Elite 2 operator as well as a special gamemode (quite unplesant and difficult one) for grinding materials for these modules. Usually modules give some extra Stats to the operator, upgrades (or even changes) their Trait and also upgrades (or even adds completly new) Talents. 22:56 - Close. That event was for 2022 Lunar New Year celebration which essentialy are another anniversary in terms of ongoing events. Basically every Lunar New Year we get new chinesse themed event that go around Sui sibling side story ark. Nian, Dusk and Ling are members of Sui family and thus they're siblings. More for you to see in a future.

That's horrible. T^T But at the same time, I'm not surprised to hear that they would do lots of sabotaging and corrupt acts, especially towards the Infected. Makes me feel even worse for them. :( SHE'S GOING TO BE AVAILABLE SOON?!? YESSSSS!!!! I think I wanna try to get her when the mini event reruns again. :3 hehe Modules sound difficult... T^T I already struggle with getting mats for upgrading skills (past level 5)! But I suppose it'll add to the daily struggles. Oh, I should have known that it was for Lunar New Year! Dunno if you've already known about this, but the event teasers are for global and cn server's anniversary and half-anniversaries, hence the increased effort for 3D animations. Due to how global server is 6 months behind the cn server, global's anniversary is during summer events and half-anniversary is during the lunar new year event. Cn on the other hand usually have stuff about other worldly beings for their anniversary (under tides) and kinda random events for half-anniversary such as near light and il siracusano which you'll see soon. Also about the 2D animated PVs, they're only made when an event arrives in global, so events that are now cn only don't have them atm

Now with your progress in the game, you can peek into side stories to take a little break from main story. You should be alright with Grani and The Knights Treasure, which is the first ever side event we got, so it's quite easy. It taking place in the Kazimierz and thought it is not quite directly related to Nearl Light, it is a nice read. Not as dark as the Main Theme, gives some background to how people live outside of nomadic cities, gives a look at Rhodes Island from slightly different perceptive and kinda answers your question why they just can't send all the Infected to it. So if you wanna something more light to read (while not struggling with clearing stages too much) I very much suggest it.

Cool fact about Nearl(4:30): Nearl isnt even an infected, at the start she lied about being one so she could fight for the infected, eventually people discover she wast infected and the real reason its because is what she thing is the right thing to do, its the Radiant Knight after all

Modules can be unlocked after u promoted ur operator to elite 2, usually to improve their traits or talent. Some operator have two modules but u can only use 1 at the same time so u need to research at gamepress for upcoming modules and choose which one you like

23:48 so a little lore here. GoldenGlow for a while became a meme in the community for being an operator that was never going to be playable, as well as being called a pink dog (she's a cat). To answer your question for the Near Light event teaser for why they have to kill the infected. It is because there are too many infected within the city limit to the point it could affect tourism. Since Kazimierz is heavily rely on tourism to make profit, KGCC will do anything to keep profit flowing in as far as if they need to be good guy and bad guy at the same time.

Right now, we have 5 Sui siblings (Nian, Dusk, Ling, SPOILER, SPOILER) introduced in the game. Every Suiblings have different trait to each other (nian is metallurgy. Dusk is calligraphy, Nian is poem, SPOILER is warfare, SPOILER is agriculture). Theres 7 more incoming (12 total suiblings) but now 6 cus 1 is.... you will know.

@@ChaosMind10531 there are plenty of other operators to do damage nowdays; we don't need 12 copies that do the same thing and if we need, his other skill has x2 multiplier, so it's pretty good AoE purpose is to burst down crowds with 5-20k HP; you don't *need* a whole 6* to deal with just lane mobs and elites
