I worked for a flagship Armani store in Las Vegas and currently Giorgio Armani co is making considerably more money from their Armani Exchange products than anything else especially high price Giorgio Armani brand named clothing. Fragrances bring in a large amount of their profits as well but with Armani Exchange products overtaking Giorgio products in their sales and being more reasonably priced products; it would make sense to see a shake up in the fragrance sector of Giorgio Armani co to make up for any slight loses they might have experienced from selling higher number of lower priced products.

I remember a perfumer talking about reformulations and that when companies make them it's almost always because they found out that one of the molecules they're using has been found to be harmful (the other times is because they found a way to make it cheaper to manufacture). At this point I'm convinced that's what's going on with Armani. Maybe Ash can check with his contact at Michael Malul and make a video teaching us about it

Been waiting for this vid for a while Ashton lol - I'll be honest, ADG 2024 reminds me more of vintage batches of ADG. ADG 2024's opening brings me back to 2007 which is crazy because My 2017 and 2019 batches of ADG do not do that (neither do 2020 & 2022 batches). Love the 2024 version, it projects very nicely as well, I really really dig it. Performance is slightly better.

The new ADG (2024 bottle with Giorgio Armani engraved at the bottom) smells fresher than the old one. You probably got an old bottle. Whether it's 15 months old or not, if your bottle has the new gradient and GA engraving, it's the new reformulated juice.

Chanel obviously does do flankers (the Chance line and Chanel Allure Homme with its few flankers) but perhaps they do want to keep BdC in the classic three variant space of EDT, EDP, and Parfum. No fancy bottles with the same fragrance and no endless flanker inception--it's a refreshing idea honestly.

I was able to verify the myth of the new ADG 2024 against that of the one that is not refillable and what I can tell you is that the one that is not refillable lasts longer than the one of the 2024, I have been testing both for 4 days, on dryers and on skin, my conclusion It is that if you are going to buy ADG, it is the old version, it lasts longer, it is like the ADG Profondo Edp versus ADG Profondo Edp 2024, the 2024 one lasts much less than the first. I hope this information is useful to you.
