I've seen in some reviews that it's really concentrated and oily. It's not a bad projection mode, but it does have a good staying power. Since it's a perfume with fresh DNA, this is admirable. I'm anxious for the larger version to come out (if it does) because this price is the same as when Dior launched its elixir and it was a failure until they increased its volume. The Parfum version received many awards and I feel that this one could go that way. Let's wait and see.

@ Awesome choice!! No, I think Ombre is very different to the TF. Darker, smoother, sweeter and more intense. It is very potent, but wonderful! Its very much like Oud Essentiel by Guerlain. Id say 90 percent similar just thicker and more potent in that extra 10 percent. Guerlain will be easy to find. If you like that you will like Ombre

Profumo was my favorite of the Brand. ADG Parfum (2024) is pretty close, Profondo edp is great too. I’m not blind buying this new one but I am looking forward to testing it on skin for sure.

@@rottenrebels I had Profumo(my favorite ever designer ) hands down!Parfum 2023 and now 2024 version....From my expirience i think Parfum 2024 is the worse then 2023... from first spray it opens up toooo much alcoholic,like is blended so wrongly.Dont know is it only my version i bought that bottle on Notino....but it is nothing like Profumo.

“Elixir” is a marketing gimmick that everyone seems to be jumping on now. It’ll usually promise a stronger concentration but will definitely deliver a much higher price. Are they worth it? That part varies in my opinion.

Yes it is a concentration , but in the case of some fragrances it is used just as a name. They do the same thing with the words Le Parfum .., sometimes it’s a concentration, sometimes only a name. Eg Y Le Parfum.

Hey Rotten Rebel, how does your Profondo perform and how long you have it? I am interested in buying old Profondo but I fear that it will rot and start smelling really bad. I had this problem 2 times with very first batches (11/2019). I bought 70ml tester, used, and it was already rotted, smelled like very strong piss and my 15 ml miniature same batchh is also starting to show signs of rotting after being open for 9 months, sad. :(

I think they need to chill and put more effort and focus into their releases rather than just rapid fire releasing random editions. I have the og perfumo and it's excellent. I recently got profondo parfum and I'll say it's good...but it's longevity is so bad you wouldn't think it's a parfum. And for $200...what are they doing man lol

Designers are short-sighted; they are accidentally pushing people towards niche fragrances with these prices. Once people start to discover that they can get better fragrances for the same cost or less from niche designers, their market will start to evaporate. On the low end of the price spectrum, they'll lose out to clones, on the higher end, they'll lose out to houses that generally do fragrances better. Maybe they are banking on the general public either being ignorant of the existence of niche frags or of being brand loyal?
