Hey Baron, I noticed that your infantry were set on the fourth battle position which is a very common mistake. This can be seen to the right of your unit icon (Shield icon with the number 1). This is set by default and really hurts your battle potential. I think its purpose is ammo conservation but the 4th stance significantly lowers your infantry's range and fire rate at a terrible rate that the insects were easily able to reach you. You need to switch your infantry to the third stance (Shield with the cross hair) to allow them to fight at their greatest potential. You can test this out in custom mode with machine gunners while toggling between the 3rd and 4th battle stance to see the difference. I hardly needed to rely on artillery or sappers on normal after discovering this in the early waves. Hope this message reaches out to you and that it helps.

He also should take a look at ammo selection screen on units during the battle and at Weapons tab during army creation when he's hiring new units. Baron, if you see this I repeat WHEN YOU ARE HIRING NEW UNIT INTO THE ARMY and I'm talking NOT about supply trucks. Take a look when you hire your riflemen.

Indeed they do! Not that I am discouraging the use of sappers, but I just wanted Baron along with new players to know that there is no need for 100% absolute reliance for them. It seemed he is relying too heavily on the sapper to fight off the first wave because his infantry are struggling in the wrong battle stance to the point his sapper's traps will become overrun and destroyed in the future. Having the infantry fight in their true form in the third battle stance in combination of the sapper would create the ultimate invincible stronghold!

He also likes to deploy a lot of units when he has enough of them in reserve and follow that up by a blob with ridiculuos amount of sappers and no points left for them to deploy anything. Why can't he just build production and academies if he wants to show his viewers more units? To drag on the walkthrough?

Thanks for the tip! I just started playing myself and I can't seem to get past the beginning. It seems like you're stuck on riflemen and sappers for a long time. I noticed that Baron gets 60 xp per turn though starting at 2:26 and I don't know how he did it. Was it a glitch? I can't get more than about 40 per turn before I get overrun, and those academies chew through your metal production. I'll test out this riflemen stance though and see how it works. Thanks for letting me know because I've been wondering what the difference between stances was.

Tipps: 1. you can press "X" on the battlefield to see the health of all units ( allied and enemies) 2. while having a sapper selected you can click on the contructions names to see the informations 3. when an army is selected you can see in the top right " Movement: true/false" true means it can still move, false means it can´t 4. when having "a turn every X days" selected the enemies will also get a lot more experience 5. light helicopter do not attack flying enemies and die fast (planes are the way to go if you ask me:) ) 6. in "destroy the enemies outpost" it is probably better to keep your troops close together and use the sapper to build a ton of buildings in front and on top of them (you can stack the buildings) 7. sappers contruct buildings by walking over them you don´t have to wait until they are contructed to place the next one keep up the hard work :) looking forward to the next episode like so baron can see

Don't pause after building two defences! Build all the defences at a time and then select your Sappers and move them along the line of defences! P.S. If you want to select a Sapper who is under a barbed wire shelter hold left click and drag a box over just the Sapper. Pleas like so Baron can see this.

Dude I played a custom battle and strategic bomber and paratrooper aircraft is the stuff man they are clearly op so for the paratrooper plane you gotta get infantry and stuff, select who will be dropped and surprise the dumb bugs, if they are too much the strategic bomber will rain AN INSANE bomb load of like 4 1000kg cluster bombs,6 or something toxic 500kg bombs,also like 8 500 kg incendiary bombs or something, and a lot of high explosive (HE) 250 kg bombs, they will destroy EVERYTHING I won't say anything about the gunship, you decide. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, THEY ARE ALL AWESOME!!!! I just have the bomber and the para plane as my favorite, you know. oh btw get the fighting vehicle line first the first one has a grenade launcher and 12 mm the second has 20 mm and the third has something and rockets, a lot of rockets

I really want to see the aircraft. Last play through you struggled against the air. I want to see troop spam with heavy air support so this time you control the air. The light helicopters can only attack ground targets and have no health but those interceptor jets and ground strikers look great.

Baron if you get one air-ground plane you can take out an entire ant army because ant can,t attack fair units. I think you should go air units.

PRO TIP! you can queue more than one thing at a time with sappers! Also you can put glue and barbed wire on top of each other so it doesn't just slow ants down it also kills them!

Make sure to go heavy artillery! The last one in the tree (and the biggest) is somewhere between 1500-2000MM! That thing practically fires mini nukes. Also, please go mechanized! Go straight for the War Machine, absolutely the single best troop in the game!

Hold the bridge, construct a massive army of elite warriors, and when you eventually wipe out the enemies definite large-scale offensive assault, effectively crippling their military, use your large army to Blitzkrieg the enemy with tanks, artillery, air raids, and infantry and completely capture the house before crushing the enemy's home base.

I believe that you should go for a powerful infantry army at the start, composed of machine guns, stinger infantry, and maybe recon vehicle at start. As an rts gamer, I'd advise to go for strong eco in the form of plastic, metal, and EXP over spamming large quantities of armies immediately. Hi-tech units may be more cost effective with dealing with low level enemies early game and able to beat foes as their levels increase

baron, you should try to expand a little bit more on the aircraft like get planes or upgrade the helicopter than once you do that just go straight out on the tanks than go for the anti aircraft a little bit than switch back to aircraft and max out the planes/helicopters (depends what way you chose to upgrade as) i hope this tactic works very well (psst please like this so baron can see this i want him to have a new feel of the game and also don't start saying i want likes for this and that, to be honest with you i couldn't give a damn about getting likes if it doesn't help baron)

Baron, when you attack when you defend because the enemy has set up an outpost and is squatting stealing resources so you defend the room by attacking the enemy outpost so they get out the room that's yours. Like so baron can see!

Guys for we need to go deeper uh the orange thing bar under the sub hull is the fuel. When you run out of it you move REALLY REALLY slow. all subs have the EMP ability but the perle has a upgraded EMP, and shield Also the staff you used (eldritch one) summons the "ghost" after a lil bit of shooting and fuel goes down by using the EMP or driving with 2 power Like so baron can get this info for the next we need to go deeper episode!

hey baron something you might wanna look into to help your troops is the attack commands on the lower left . i cant remember if it is covered well in the manual but i think the top one is defensive fire at will, seek and destroy, nearest enemy, and group target. if group target is set it can make all of your rifle men shoot on "ant" then re-target again . the re-target delay and reduce the efficiency of your troops " aka the guys shooting then turning and waiting a second to shoot again. i noticed it at 16:53 that you had that set still

aircraft, definitely, for 2 reasons. 1. You didn't do them in the first one 2. they can take out air bugs and then kill the ground ones with no worries, whereas mechanised warfare is at risk from both ground and air.

Baron you should try to make your supply lines as secure as possible in this map. I'm playing this map right now and my vanguard's been cut off so many times I had to pull them back from the room across the hallway. Also, ants and grasshoppers WILL penetrate into the base rooms so keep a pretty big army there as well.
