I like it. Weird to me that a power trunk lid is standard but comfort access isn't.

Saw the M60 in person, not the 530. I think I prefer the front end of this one to the M version. Definitely not a fan of the door handle change. The rest of the design isn't bad and probably will grown on me. I think if it had a B58 in it life would be good.

@@AllenBMWDurham yep agreed... that said, iv never driven the 4 cylinder in that car so it might do just fine at accomplishing the experience it is supposed to give at that price point. Hard to just crap on it from a far, it might be fantastic for all I know.

I saw the 5 series, and as an owner of the previous generation I am flabbergasted how cheap feeling this one was. The buttons on the door for the windows seems like something from 2006 Corolla. Everything about it seemed like a downgrade in terms of quality. Such a shame as I waited so long for the new 5 series

Some of the materials do seem a bit plastic and the manual head rest adjustments and lack of rear comfort access are glaring, however the drive is more comfortable than the outgoing model and I do really like the new design although the internet doesn't currently agree yet lol

This car is just a disaster from a design standpoint! The front is too cluttered and the rear (sport back) does not look like a 5er. Lest we forget the ghastly looking taillights.

its all in the eye of the beholder, I personally prefer G30 LCI design but this is nice and very comfortable
