NEW Arrma Kratron EXB "MASSIVE!" Mega mound sends and quick fix mod tips!

Out for a quick bash with the Arrma Kraton EXB. She now has a M2C chassis for the continuous harder bashings. The EXB chassis is much stronger than a stock RTR but you can't go wrong with 4mm for harder hits. I was fortunate to be able to get some time at this construction site with the massive dirt mounds to send off of. Had a lot of fun and no breaks but the rear arm which I was able to mod a RPM arm to fit. This is such a great rig and HUGE props to Arrma again for their drive and innovation! Thanks for watching!

I wanted to do the Thomas P mod but it didn't look doable with the RPM arms. Not enough meat to work with 🤣. The stock EXB arms are beefcake no doubt. I really like the geometry they went with on this 👌. Gonna stick with the 3mm chassis for now, just not without the T to T 😱🤣🤣. Super impressed with the handling and durability overall. The LP's should take about anything you through at them power wise 💪. Just lose some of that cushion at the rough spots. So stoked to see you getting back out after the baby Bro 😍. It's right across from another dirt spot I go to a lot. The mounds were perfect but a tricky run up to the top. Lots of rocks and crap to navigate around!🤣Glad the RPM arm held with the mod! I agree, I do love the new Geometry and the beefy arms!💪Got new ones on order! I hated to go M2C on this one but it was honestly called for imo. The EXB is good for moderate bashing but full on senders and rough terrain landings need 4mm. Plus any power loss landings dont end well!😉🤣🤣Can't wait to sneak out again. Awesome Spot for some major EPIC bash Eric. EXB is hella Tank with the Goliath chassis. Huge drop makes for some awesome downhill angle views. The stacked was Nuts! 😱😂🤣 But took it like champ! love the videos... i recently picked up a v4 talion that id like to finish off with m2c upgrades but im struggling with the suspension and handling right now and was going to see if i could pick your brain on your set up for shocks, diffs, and gearing

Diffs- I’m running 60k front, 500k middle, 30k rear, also with backflip lp tires. For gearing- if you’re using the stock katar tires, a 16t-17t pinion with dual motor fans should do the job. With backflip lp’s I still use the 13t pinion. Leave the shocks alone, the stock 2000cst oil works nice in the smaller talion shocks. Just adjust spring preload to your liking. I’m pretty happy with this set up in my talion v4

Paul Clancy It’s a good idea to check them when new ,yes. Especially when new Lol. Bcuz I’ve got them with zero oil in shocks and dry diffs before. And I do know some of these A-K’s come with a lil slack in diffs on the reg . And most needs another shim (in the back or front. Especially the back ) . But I rather do a quick tear down a get it right once. Than to have constant problems or things happen to other parts because of it. But that’s just me. 💁‍♂️. And well. I know The RC dude is this way too. Well. I’m the last couple of yrs anyways. Lol.

I'm running same diff oils except 30k in rear, on my regular Kraton, I have same problem I lose speed with LPs but I keep ripping backflips and copperheads , man I didnt want take apart brand new exb but ik your right have check those diff oils

Rpm or exb arms

I'd say EXB. A lot thicker but still has nice flex. With RPM, like I showed, you have to make mods to work.😎👊
