Yesssss best2 keep wix trimmed so not only 2prevent black ash frm appearin all @top of glass, Also it's a SAFETY thing..my buddy had glass candle EXPLODE frm wick n flame gettin too big due2 long wick. I also freeze my 🕯candles few hrs or ovr nite, that aren't glass)b4 🔥 burnin makz em burn slower n last longer. Imo. XO.JAZ.AYY

I thought it kinda looked a bit like a pair of medical scissors that I have, except the nose was too long. On the medical scissors the nose is blut to go under gauze and bandages, then a slightly shorter sharp top blade. Thanks for letting us know what they are!

Highlight of my week to see the adventures of MaCenna, Romeo, Mama, Kinsley and the Cottage!! I love your mom's artwork. My Grandma is an artist who worked with Bob Ross and sold her art all around New York etc. She used to buy old antique farm equipment and saws and paint on them. She even had her own shop in Chester, NY in the 80's. Your mom's work reminds me of my Grandma's work. I'm also married to a historical artist, so I just love art and creative people so much! You guys are at the top of my list for creatives!

The copper pot with the ceramic insert is a chocolate pot. I have one too! It works great when I make holiday candies for Xmas, Valentines Day or Easter. You can totally use it as a double boiler to gently cook something. The insert is thick so the chocolate won't burn. I too am a Thrift Store Shopaholic and I watch you and your mother out shopping and showing items to the camera and I sit and shout "OOH, OOH, OOH" when you pick up something I would want or know what it is you are holding. I used to shop like that with my Grandmother 50 years ago and it would be a test to see if she could "name that thing". Thank you so much for rekindling the memories.

My Mum is a professional calligrapher - she does events, signage & corporate PR. I showed her your ‘A year of renovating’ video & she made me rewatch all of your videos with her. She’s been look for a vintage ink well just like that forever, she screamed when you held it up. She wants to collect them, there’s incredible designs out there, but they’re so expensive. Copper bowls are great for whipping egg whites into stiff peaks for baking. The egg and the copper make a chemical reaction, in a good way, helping to aerate egg mixtures

Ok I am OFFICIALLY invested in this project, especially the windows!! Last night I had a dream that the cottage was done and I was inside it with MaCenna (yes, in my dreams we’re besties) and I was like yes everything in here is beautiful but please let’s go outside and admire the WINDOWS!! And I remember just being in awe of the color palette and how the black on the windows look against the white dove on the siding 😍😆 I just love the way the outside looks! But I know once the work on the inside really starts I’ll be just as much in awe! 🤩

The cissors cut candle wicks and the double cook pot is for melting something without boiling it. The last pitcher/vase is sooooo beautiful, it's my favorite! The pitcher and wash basin would be cute in the cottage. They are wonderful if there is a risk of losing water (well). You can put the water in the pitcher and then pour in the basin to do a quick wash. Set out with a pretty washcloth and towel. :)

Double boilers are good for fondue type stuff, melting chocolate or making curds for tarts and a lot of other baking.

A muntin is the strip of wood that separates the panes of glass in the sash. A mullion is the same thing or just decorative. So the piece you will put over your glass to make it look like double pane. (Sorry, word nerd here, I love to learn and share great words) 🤣😅😂😉
