I think u forgot to mention the +20% lightning damage of the artifact bow on the empower cap calculation. Nice vid as always dorian!

Does runeglass and harnessing go over empower cap? Bow already mostly has 25% empower and + 10% conditional empower (+10m away from targer and targer under 50% hp) Will that you are usualy at around 35% empower already. So runeglass would make sense for up to 45% and max 3 pieces of harnessing for 50% empower. Or I am missing something?

you can farm lifering rapier at the top of Tor Mallacht just kill the mob there, can be soloed, 6 min respawn

I've checked dmg with this bow on traning dummys on PTR with 350-150-150 split and full Dex/Con. In my supprise dmg on full Dex was higher. Not much but noticeble. So maybe 350-150-150 is not worth and better is to go tumbler boots with shirking heals on gear. What do you think?

Taiyi rapier is also good, i made it already. Refreshing move and rogue locked in and i added pen backstab. That way you can get omni on gear. You lose 7% crit but gain cdr

Once this goes live and the meta shifts to counter it (if it isn't nerfed on release) Standard/split bow will see a rise in damage without question. Healers swapping to topaz and dropping a bit of thrust will do it. Ele over ward along with topaz slotted will be what's needed to counter it. Will be nice to have the option of playing standard again. The question will be if 350 int will be run and I think it will find a place. The damage will be higher then 350 dex for sure

Based on the screenshot they showed, it may not be able to scale off of int. On artifacts that scale off of stats other than their base one, they show it in the perk that tells you what element the damage is being converted to. The artifact bow passive shown does not mention a new scaling stat, and in the clip they showed the tester is playing it with dex. Of course, they could/should change it to scale off of int the way they do with anything else, but this is AGS so only time will tell.

20% bow 10% gems 7% ring 7% honing stone =44%. Either 3x light harnessing and you can skip evasive tactics or 0 harnessing and go evasive tactics

This might be a dumb question, but what happens if you run a heavy armor build. I am new to the game and saw that you get 20 percent damage for light. But the difference between light and heavy is 1000 vs 3k resistance. 1. How much does 3k vs 1k damage resistance give? 2. Im not sure how absorption stacks onto resistance so that is part of the reason I wonder how much the damage matters can you clarify? 3. (is the 20 percent an empower or what is it for light build 20 percent considered?)

its a flat 20% damage boost not associated with empower. you also get better evade skill in light mode so it helps you keep distance from enemies. dont need high resistance if you can stay away from enemies.

If you are running medium or heavy equip load then you cannot dodge and move freely. This does not suit PVP at all for a role where kills and damage are your main focus. You will not be able to get away from a fight or dodge projectiles as easily, it will be kill or die, but mostly just die.

Light resists about 20% damage and heavy resists about 40% damage. But light also has a 20% damage buff which offsets the extra resistance that heavy gets. So effectively light deals the same damage to heavy that what heavy deals to light, except light also gets a super dodge. So AGS gives light huge benefits over heavy, plus most of the heavy armour artifacts are bad while light has 2 s tier artifacts…yeah AGS hates heavy armour users.

So 1000 damage comes in armor eats 20 percent and absorption eats up 10 percent of the remaining? which would 10 percent of 800. are you talking about the transmog? Its called the Pirated Bow skin - and im pretty sure it drops from the barnacles dungeon, but u can check under the transmog vendor

60% more scaling than syncretic on elemental damage Of the around 50% lightning/ele damage bonus (int passives, runeglass, harnessing, ring) = around a 30% damage increase over a normal split gem ele bow. Definitely not a DUD. its just another option. full testing this thursday. also, u only need optimal gear. BIS is the ultimate end goal you work for.

for bow converting thrust into lightning its enough to make it broken ... with the other 20% lightning bonus and the stun makes it the most broken weapon in NW history only close to exploited weapons as hatchet or IG on the beggining of the game . This will certainly be nerfed ... even before release

i dont think thats a good bow at all, 2nd special perk is obviously "you stun people if they are full health when you hit. "that ags was talking about. Dot dmg is what makes bow op right now, I like the stun perk but honestly i dont think it will be good, who ever i saw ice build have weaker damage then i do with the regular dot dmg build in opr, and sometimes i play 50 con 500 dex 50 str bcz of heavy light attacks i deal around 7k-8k with the dots maybe even more i cannot even calculate.But ofcourse we will see what will happen.
