I have a kinetic tool. I love it. I wish Artisan would keep making it and making some new updates on it. I'm too scare to buy a blades version, but having a practice butterfly with practical applications is amazing. I love artisan cutlery. Good stuff!

An interesting thing to see on the slide OTF prototype would be a self-retracting slide handle (could be as simple as a spring to be honest), as well as maybe a variant with a wave-esque mecahnism on the slide for quick deployment.

Love this guy's attention to weight, handle length, and even the problem I encountered with holding my Para3 Lightweight (only one liner) too tightly and messing up the action for myself. I love that they basically made a tactical Kephart dagger, and I'm even more excited to see what a contemporary bushcraft knife as light as traditional ones is like!

@jeffl99562 жыл бұрын
They should make the otf slide look similar to a shotgun pump handle, I don’t care if the first isn’t totally amazing because they’re taking chances and innovating which the knife industry needs so damn badly. It’s not too much of a problem now, but people are getting tired of the same old stuff from every company. That’s one reason why I love the Winter Blade Co designs and why I will make 100% sure I get a factor next month! The insane ping that knife makes when the blade is deployed is the most satisfying thing I’ve ever experienced from a knife. I fkn love it, plus the knife looks badass and the magnetic stuff the maker came up with is something so obvious but still nobody has ever thought of it or tried to orient it as far as I know. Every single design he has made prototypes for are totally original which nobody else has done, can’t wait for the Factor and the other future models!

One of if not the best presentation video I've seen from Shot Show. I wish they would've mentioned the blade length on the unnamed bolster lock. No comment on the slide action knife, but there are at least 3 knives on that table I'd like to own, so that's pretty good! The Kenetic, Ruffian, and Ahab. I also like the More Maileah, but I'm happy with the small one and don't need the larger (I bought it 'cause it's legal in 2.5 inch cities).
