New 🆕 Atlantic - I Know is now aged 31 years old in November 2023. By February 2024, it will be aged 32 years old. I was approaching my 16th birthday 🎁 🎂 🎈 in the following month is March 1992. I like 👍 this music 🎧 🎶 🎵 . It’s all very good 👍. There are plenty of people 🧔‍♂️ 🧔‍♀️ 🧔 👩‍🦰 👩‍🦰 at Top 🔝 Of The Pops. 👍

No joke, I've been waiting for someone to upload this since youtube first started, Thank You. For me this performance was the epitome of the mainstream music industry not understanding what dance music was, or what is was about. TOTP had not long introduced the 'no miming' rule, and the thing is that in 1992 - half the top 40 was dance and rave, so it led to some very dodgy performances. This one was hands down, unequivocally, the worst of all of them. Where did they find this woman? Outside before the gig? She is so bad, she's pitchy, her voice cracks, she's trying to be all throaty but just sounds like she's gargling milk to dislodge a wasp that's stuck in her throat - It's like they never heard her sing before they gave her the mic. It's not even that she can't sing like Candi Staton - SHE CAN'T SING PERIOD. 14 Year old me that had this on cassette single was mortified. I know they worked with and did a lot of PA's in clubs with Linda Wright, why the hell didn't they get her in to do this. Hearing this again after 30 years - it's actually worse than i remember, and I remembered it being so bad.

One of the best dance records ever recorded. Brilliant piano synths and great dance/electronic composing you rarely get today, certainly in the "mainstream" anyway. Wasn't always able to watch this programme in 1992, so great to see this video here.

The TOTP "Dark ages" 1992-93. Everything about the revamp was a disaster. Things could only better and by the mid 90s it had recovered from its "year zero dibacle..." oh to go back to the 90s... 😉
