I saw on reddit that someone had built an outpost on the rocks located in that little bay area including a landing pad and other habs.

I am in awe - This is my (close to) first exposure to what goes into an Outpost (Cot and a drill rig was fine by me!) but this is fantastic Or as @BB77s words: Priceless. Thanks for sharing!

Nitpicking here but that's not "glitching out" with seeing your base from New Atlantis. Everything is working EXACTLY as intended. What's happening? You are far enough away from your outpost that it isn't within the minimum draw distance. The ship is still there because the ship isn't a place or a thing, its a collection of in-game assets tied together. It doesn't move. It gets spawned/loaded in when you do something to trigger it spawning. You can see it at your outpost because you haven't done anything that will trigger despawning it from your outpost.

Anyone else looking for a cool looking planet with a tropical /coast biome, and islands large enough to support outposts? Or anyone else out there also searching for that one elusive planet where you would settle down and build your dream home? You know, the one that upon landing you immediately think something akin to: "This is the one".

IF you have to be a certain distance away on the ground. What if you build a tall hab, and at corridors over and over until they reach the city... or does it still block them?

It will block it, you are limited to a certain radius within the beacon.

I had to start the game again because there was so many missions that I could I could not do becasue it was so bugged. it has ytaken a few weeks to level back up I am nearly level 60 I was level 89. Can I ask where did you place your beacon? I was in this area today ironically i happened to be in the same area before I even looked at this video which is a bit spooky. To get that near the water does cause a problem because everytime I put the beacon down in the same area I think I was I ended up with a circle but also reach areas that I couldn't put anything in why is that. Any ideas would be a ppreciated.

I put the beacon a bit more inland. Not too close to the water. I looked for a area where there's kind of an archipelago. The only issue I used to have was on building mode, the top down view, the center dot would get stuck on a spinning circle. But leaving and coming back would solve it. Although, occasionally, I get this issue in other outposts too, not just near Atlantis.

I built there too. Great location. I can see it from the penthouse. One word of warning... Supposedly the New Atlantis map resets causing you to lose everything in the penthouse you got from faction quest. I fear that when this happens it could also reset the base location. I haven't confirmed though.

What kind of house do you have in your base? A wooden house where do you get it ?

Those are husbandry barns for the animals. It’s under the fabrication menu.

Nice for Aesthetics. - Prospectors be warned: There is no Argon on the entire map section of New Atlantis. Only Chlorine & Chlorosilanes. - even though the map section contains Deciduous Forrest.

You realise that lake is raw sewage right ? Jump off the edge of New Antlantis spaceport at the back , you’ll see it pumping out 😅

Those are husbandry barns. You find them under Fabrication with the Greenhouse. You may need to scan enough local fauna for it to become available.
