Many are complaining the design has stayed the same for the last couple of years. Honestly, maybe its just me, but I love it! Aggressive, yet calm-looking, sporty, yet looking luxurious. No need to make any major design changes, you would only screw it up. To me, Audis look as good as it gets! The best looking cars, just perfect!

That instrument panel is insane! I have the 2015 A4, bought on January, and I'm absolutely in love with it. I gotta mention the great treatment that Audi gives to owners, inviting us to great parties when they have a new product (last party was for the TT launch). It's also nice to leave your car in a dealer, for maintance, and see a couple R8's.

Alot of these new audis the TT r8 Q7 and now the A4 they dont look that good on pictures well not as good as the car it replaces but trust me when you see the car in person it's beautiful Audi never fails with the interior as the new a4 shows the exterior will win alot of you over too

I only managed to stomach half of it. All new so called luxury saloons always have some hype about how this is a m3 killer etc... but yet, the 3 series is still sitting up there. BMW has had adaptive cruise control for a while. MSport models already have adaptive suspension and all 3 series have eco, comfort and sport modes. Audi have best in class for noise reduction because they moved a wimg mirror :) I drove to London last week and whilst passing York, my mpg was 71.1mpg with 4 passengers in a 2.0 litre twin powered turbo saloon. I think Audi have some way to go yet.

Like Mercedes and BMW, versions of the technology would have been available as a result of the high end use on A8 and to a lesser degree A6/A7/Q7. Of course there is a trickle down process accompanied by refinements in the tech and some additional features as a result of what was learned from the execution on the top of the range vehicles, Since I am purchasing in the sector at the latter in of the year, I want to know about the technology that is finding its way into the Mid range cars. As far as the shape is concerned, yes it could have been a radical statement but why would they or for that matter BMW change a successful evolutionary format. Most people like the familiar but improved appearance that both manufacturers espouse, this way the car ages well, something that the XE Jag will not do, just look at the way the X and the XF have dated! Audi have on this occasion gone for technological change i.e. Powertrain, Suspension, Interior, Driver focus. I don't think the buyer will be short changed by this car, if early indications are correct, the B9 will bring big improvements over the B8 and could well be class leading in engine performance, ride, comfort and handling. No doubt the car will be hugely successful for Audi and share dominance with BMW 3 in this compact executive sector. For me the A4 Quattro Avant TDI Ultra will be a strong contender for my money but I will be driving a few and checking residual values etc. against the competition before making a decision. Not sure what you meant by sticking to the premium brands, Audi is a premium brand....

And I doubt the S4 will look much different save for the aluminum mirrors and badges. The RS4- couldn't care less. No V8? Great video. I've just ordered a new A4 Avant, after looking at a lot of different cars with a very open mind (I currently drive an Alfa Romeo but have had both an A4 and a 320d in the past). The Audi ticked all of the boxes and we particularly love the interior. I'm very impressed by it and I can't wait to get mine in a couple of months!

yes averyone say that bmw means sport but not everyone knows that bmw puts the engine behind the front axle. audi puts the engine in front of the axle and the car will oversteer. I hear them when they say that it`s a great car but is has nothing to do with sportiness...

Well done guys. I watch a lot of car review vids and this is one of the best. Very informative and getting the info directly from the factory engineers gives insight to Audi's philosophy. I like that Audi acknowledges the A4 is the bread and butter motor and they start with innovations with the 'mother car'. Then move those innovations on to the other lines. A lot of car companies put the best tech in the top line car and move it down to other lines. I am very interested in test driving the new A 4. I have owned four 3 series BMWs and I have felt that the A4 was second tier when compared to BMW. For me, the A 4's engine always let it down. I am in the market to replace my older x3 (i have had x-3s along with my 3's) and Audi is on my list. well done. one creative suggestion, the boss needs to wear a better fitting shirt. The bottom two buttons where holding on for dear life:)

Thank you for your video. It's kind of illogical that Audi made the regular MMI display non-foldable, though - I mean, you already have new, very large display in place of gauge cluster which can display navi map and other info so there's even LESS need to leave the "regular" MMI display always "raised". Especially for people who don't even want to use it at any time.

That's called the Atkinson cycle, when you close the intake valves early. It effectively changes the relative length of the intake and power strokes. Having a longer power stroke than intake stroke allows you to extract a larger percent of available power from the intake charge. It's been around for a long time.
