its more like shapez 1 came out then everyone started to make copy games but they were so slow at releasing those games that by now shapez 2 coming and they stil not finished with their shapez 1 copy pasta game 😂 this game in this video was first promised for fall 2023 then they changed it to q3 2024 so yeah idk if this game will even come out this year

So it's a shape-based factory builder tower defense with a roguelite tree-style map. Could they also cram a souls-like first person shooter in there somewhere, pretty please? :)

Wow! I'm really impressed with how you explained the game :D I wonder if It would be fair to call this an automation autobattler? Great to see different concepts come together, the battle portion is a cool simulation of how well you've built your factory :)

This factory is quite disorganized. You should follow a simple principle. Keep your canvases in straight lines and merge the mine output into a single belt.

after checking the steam discussion i can see they posted in march 2023 that the game releases in fall 2023 lmao we in almost june 2024 and only now they released the demo 😂 they claim the game releases in Q3 2024 hmm fall 2023 to Q3 2024 yeah... the full game will only release in 2025 i bet 😂

Automation games need something special. Unfortunately, this game's special thing, the fights, are flat.

I disagree. Most automation games boil down to not much more than incremental number generation, basically acting as a more conplex and involved clicker game. This one at least adds in strategy and reason to the automation that's more than just a quick lore dump.

The game does have an option that allows you to freely design and build while paused.

this has some pretty neat concepts, but im not sure i like the time limit lol. kinda at odds with my factory building style.

you can pause whenever you want tho, the only limiting factor is the blue crystal production speed per second but planning out your layout just pause visualize it then unpause and do it
