I’m not one to send comments but omg I couldn’t find ANYTHING ON AFTER THEY TURN FROM TADPOLES TO FROGS. Thanks for the video

Great video! Just dropping a note that I'm raising some tadpoles that I caught in a creek near my home in California, and they seem to love WATERCRESS, which was growing in their pond. The nice thing is the plants can grow in the tank, so you can just leave a bunch in there and not have to feed them each day. Hope this helps others.

I just got some tadpoles last week (Idk the species) and their getting bigger so I wanna upgrade them soon. I'll definitely use this idea. These ones grow huge before turning into frogs/toads. I've never seen what the adults look like, so this will be a surprise for me.

Aww I remember my cousins little cane toad, she didnt buy it or catch it , it randomly came in and never left for the entire season . He ran away but , i think he'll be back next monsoon ! . Cant wait to see him again !

You're doing great. I rescued a bunch from my pool when I went to break it down. The ones I rescued are tree frogs. You can tell because they have become grey in color when they are the tiny frogs with a bit of tail. Can't quite tell from your video but if yours are more of a black they are most likely a cricket frog. These are usually confused with bullfrogs because they chirp a lot
@cateandfun2950 Жыл бұрын
I love how your feeding flightless fruit fly's they are great food for them but when they still have there tail they don't need to eat because all the food thy need comes from there tail when they absorb there tail!

Look up information on care for African dwarf frogs, they are one of the smallest frogs and they are 100% aquatic. That is the most information you will get. they have been in the aquarium scene for a long time but care for them will be like care for any other small frog except for temperature

Definitely looks like an American toad. I just recently got 8 American toad tadpoles from Ebay and 5 are already baby toads, and they look almost identical to the one in your enclosure, right down to the size and color.

I had frogs as pets in the 80s. I was nine. I wish I had thought of that fruit fly trick. Our kitchen was full of them and they could have easily made their own ecosystem inside the terrarium. I had a pretty darn good terrarium in our back yard but the problem was no bugs could get inside so feeding was very difficult.
