I absolutely love and appreciate your giving the internal capacity of the pack plus the external. So it's clear exactly how many litters the pack is. Thank you!

Congrats on all the MYOG success and continuing to optimize your kits. Love your "matter of fact" style and appreciate hearing the rationale for each choice. Keep up the great work! Ps. Do you take orders? 😉

@@KevinRStrauss Thank you! It’s been fun dialing things in even more and drawing up some of the ideas I have. Looking forward to putting more of those projects together. I’m happy you enjoyed the video. I’m not setup for any orders yet, but quite possibly in the near future 🙂.

Super about making your own gear. I am truly impressed. MYOG, I bet Ray Jardine would be impressed too. Question. On a moderate night, what do you sleep in?
@matjobinКүн бұрын
@@jhonyermo Thank you! Ray Jardine has always been an influential part of my hiking style. On a thru-hike, I'll always carry a designated short sleeve sleep shirt like a Patagonia Lightweight Capilene or even one of the Old Navy shirts in this video would work. Then layer my fleece over if needed. For bottoms, I usually have just worn my wind pants. Something like the Montbell Tachyon or Patagonia Terrebonne joggers. On shorter trips that are a few days in length, I'll typically just sleep in my hiking clothes. Since I’m using a quilt, I like to wear a beanie too.

Hi Mat, any plans to sew a tarp?
@matjobinКүн бұрын
@@surfandstreamfisher5749 Absolutely! I have plans to make a tarp and also a tent. Next on my project list is a pullover Alpha Direct Wool fleece with button snaps.
