If you listen to the audio during the chase scene carefully you can just barely make out a conversation the team back at the hole has after John gets back with the tether. They realize that Marven is in danger and start setting up the tether using what they got. They use the suitcase as a makeshift weight on the end of the rope so it can slide down the carpet and out to Marven. That way the rope doesn't get caught at the bend in the shaft.

According to my knowledge of the backrooms the null zones are spaces between levels where entities cannot pass through keeping them locked in. It also glitches out any communication systems when inside the null zones. Thats why the communication system started to glitch out when he was entering the other rooms in the house.

Because people don’t seem to get it yet: Kane’s universe has “sections”, “floors,” “levels,” sure, but they’re not the same levels as the other backrooms universes. Until Kane makes a statement there is no definitive connection to any other backrooms content except the shared origin of the 4chan post from a couple years ago. To all the people saying this was “level x” or this “entity is called a y,” we don’t know anything yet. You cant make those definite conclusions for Kane’s universe. It’s just a matter of time and information. Maybe they’re the same, maybe they’re not. But your opinions on the matter are not fact until we get more nuance from Kane’s perspective. These videos are made for and from his own ideas.

I usually would just like to think something like "oh maybe the lantern entity got defeated" Because the lantern is the only thing that's keeping the crimson forest save or "maybe the crimson forest collide with another level so it's kinda making the lantern entity a little bit confused?" But even if Kane's backrooms is different from the original backrooms there's definitely a lot of similarities like that place in that video is undoubtedly the crimson forest from backrooms and that entity I'm 90% sure that is a skin stealer which can steal it's victim's skin and actually repeat they're conversations so I think it's definitely not a completely different universe but like some sort of alternative universe from the backrooms and since we're talking about backrooms which is a universe of itself (I mean it's another universe connected to the real life) there's a chance that the original backrooms is connected to the Kane's backrooms, even heck backrooms could be connected to all of the other universes or alternative universes in the multiverse....

I honestly prefer it that way. By establishing that it isn’t connected and that it is basically his own flare added to a little pre-existing assets of the original lore it creates a lot of depth and opens up the door to a plethora of possibilities. The biggest bonus about this is that it allows for the idea that multiple realities of the backrooms exist, only connected but the fact that they are still whatever the backrooms essentially is/are. Truthfully the only thing that connected Kane Pixels’ backrooms to other creators backrooms is the fact they are centered around the grassroots backrooms idea/theory and at times the software used to make the videos, other than that no one’s work is quite like Kane Pixels, and that in its self is astonishing.

To clarify things. Kane has stated multiple times that his story has no connection to any other stories about the backrooms. There are no “levels” and “entities” just liminal spaces that connect inexplicably. The stuff from the wikis and fandom is an entirely different universe.

To clarify: Marvin definitely didn't die from fungi because the recording didn't say "in memory of X", he was coughing cuz he ran like 500 m. Even under adrenaline it would've been very exhausting, especially he was in a hazmat suit, so he was just out of breath.

For the video “Prototype,” there is a metal ball that looks like the door to backrooms, and the energy (presumably from le spinny thing) charges the ball, thus creating the electric affect and making it turn yellow. It's fine in something like SCP where the entire premise is collecting unusual entities but in the Backrooms it kind of takes away from the more existential horror aspect. I think Kane does a pretty good job with entities, we only know of one, the bacteria, maybe two if the motion detected creature is different. But they're rarely seen and we know very little about them.

Crimson forest is actually one of the safest and nicest areas of the backrooms. There are no hostile entities, it is overseen by a powerful, friendly entity and there are also tons of settlements there.

Wow good theory you got there, buddy! I thought the same after realizing some weirdness from the monster that captured the videographer on found footage video. It just make sense if the backrooms was only just empty rooms but with unknown amounts of dangerous bacteria that may never exist in our universe. And my take was same just you; the 'entities' from found footage was that fckin' motion cameras that somehow, merged with this bacteria which then the bacteria reanimate the cam and creating life with it, but it still leaving the current function of motion cameras; *recording only when movement or sounds detected.* So i wonder; if the videographer on found footage keep stay still and be a statue for seconds, maybe it would save his life, right!! Since bcoz the monsters was only just infected motion cameras!!!

When he mentioned the red lights and how it protects you from entities that could be one of the few things Kane pixels had used for this level as even though you heard the talking behind him he never saw the creature chasing him almost as if it’s scared to go out into the red lights which could see why the abandoned camp there were people but were probably killed and their conversations taken by the new entity and why they died but the scientist was able to escape

As someone who did something similar just for myself I was overjoyed to see how much creativity in Levels, Entities and stories there were from so many different people. The prototype video is likely in relation to the threshold (the portal to the backrooms in this case). It was the first prototype of teleporting things to the backrooms. In the video there's a marble in the middle of the device, which disappears, indicating the success of this test. However this is just my theory.

I dunno if you'll read this or not Ryan, but just to clarify, Kane's backrooms actually based on 4chan but NOT connected as fandom canon so it means, Kane's backrooms lore was standalone. Also, *Kane already confirmed on his discord if he got no idea about "sixarms" or "level 0", or whatever the level is* , so there's no level ! , or level =) , or pool rooms, or else on his own lore. There's no such thing as partygoers or skinstealers, it's never been on Kane's lore since beginning. So i hope you just theorizing it next time without connect the fandom fact into Kane's backrooms lore. That’s some sort of Skin Stealer with a Kane Pixels twist on it. Skin Stealers are known for mimicking the voices of the humans they kill, but they can only repeat phrases they hear and they’ll only say those words. This is different, however, in that this new entity has the General shape of a person but is definitely not humanoid. We also head the entity mumbling something else when Marvin looks around the corner.

(BTW The crimson forest entities change with each wiki iteration for example on LA it is the crimson ambassador , while with the other iterations it is no entities or some entities )

If you listen closely, in the “radio interference” part as Ryan calls it, you can hear the KiDS song playing by the management. Which is a song released in 2009, and this takes place in 1990. But, Kane pixels re-uploaded the video and got rid of it. Sad.

Just some background info, Oak Ridge (Where the lab with the weird machine is), is in Tennessee, and is where the first two Atomic Bombs were built. In fact, a few years ago they still had the exact Enrichment center that created the material used in the bombs. Unfortunately it's gone, but the main facility is still there. . .

In Prototype, Async used a machine to make a metal ball disappear. If you zoom in after the experiment you can see that it's not there anymore. Also, Kane isn't basing anything off of previous backrooms canons or levels. That means no crimson forest, Ryan!

I absolutely love the backrooms, especially watching 8-bit Ryan react to these videos both from kane pixels and others. Since this is a new take on the back rooms, I'm excited to see where this leads. Like, will the scientists bring in firearms or hired guns? Will they potentially realize they have to confront these anomalies? Who knows, but we'll see someday. Keep up the epic videos, and God bless. Also, as a side note, I actually live in the same state as the city of oak ridge. Mind you I don't live in oak ridge, but I'm within an hour's drive of it. And yes, there is a facility there that science related, and a person from my church actually works there. So seeing that town mentioned, I thought was pretty neat.
