First thing I did was fire up the full size loader, and hook on my forks. CAT recently did an Article on my RC Loader here: bit.ly/2ryQdVw I wanted to move some of the rocks around, and my skinny frame isn't big enough to muscle these kinda boulders. Not too many people are... I added some pallets to add height and strength to the structure.
This is my first time out on my rock pile in 2018! I am excited to be out and wanted to create some more lines and different obstacles than I had last year. The loader is a big help when I have to do this job. Wish I had a grapple. All things in good time..
The Model of Radio Control Jeep I am using is a 2018 CAPO RACiNG JK MAX, which is due for release this Summer. I have used this vehicle quite a bit and it really has grown on me. Everyone of my RC's are built differently.. and as intricate as this jeep is - it held together through the vehicle roll overs very well. It pains me to hear the scratching of the paint on the rocks.. but hey - thats what wheelin' is all about. Enjoying the Good time, and Getting a little Road Rash on your Jeep!
Valued at $1500 USD, this model continues to impress me. The machining was been excellent and the build almost effortless. This jeep is almost 100% ALL METAL, complimented by Carbon Fiber, and a sparse amount of plastic. The suspension is truly amazing - and the gear shifter is INSiDE the Transmission Housing! Unreal!

I love the new high section transitioning to the log. I’ve got a similar obstacle on my backyard course. Except it’s rock climb to log climb higher and then down a chain bridge.
