Who does she think she is, I had a woman from the next street here in the uk complain to the local council, an official came to my home and said they had a report of a abandoned vw beetle outside my home, I told him it’s all legal, he said he can clearly see it’s not abandoned and legal, I told him I know who she is, he then left, so we have many KARENS here too, I hope you keep your baja and enjoy it, never mind that Karen, she clearly is frustrated, lol

Big and little seem to be the way to go traditionally. It depends on the use. Mine is mostly mud and eventually sand. Ii I daily drove it I would have as tall of a spare I could fit under the hood.

Freakin Karen. If it's registered and insured she can pound sand. I have had many "Smells like gas and danger" baja's, absolutely love them. Currently have a full tube chassis, long travel type 4 powered baja, but nooo, that wasn't good enough. Had to go buy a class 12 single seat and go desert racing again at 61 years old :)

I absolutely love my Baja beetle. I've installed a TD04 turbo on a 1776cc engine. I run about 10psi through dual Kadron carburetors. If you're baja isn't upsetting Karens, it's not a real Baja. Being the only trans girl in my tiny rural town driving the only desert camo baja beetle is just a blast. People can't hate you when you have such unique wheels. Unless they're Karens. But who the hell cares about people who try to tell you how to live your life anyway.

Important tip!! Or, rather a warning!! You have one piece windows. That's cool. Do you still have those metal door stops, so your door doesn't open too far? If you to, change them NOW to some in kevlar or nylon or whatever. If you don't, there's just a matter of time until your window explodes all over you when you close the door! Those are NOT compatible. The stopper will rub and catch on the glass inside the door! Learned this the hard and expensive way, far, far away from home, and had to drive a whole winter without a side window on the driver's side. (I was poor.)

I never replaced the door stops with those fabric ones, though, I just removed them and was careful about opening the doors in windy conditions...

@@AaronCoyRacing I left mine in in my rat look street racer whatever, but I wouldn't install them myself if I had a project. I kind of like the little windows, and they're great in the winter! It keeps moist air from your breath from fogging up the windows until you get luke warm air from the engine up the vents!
