Just scooped this one up based on your review Sean. It's a pretty clean colorway that will be easy to style. Kind of reminds me of Todd Snyder's colab with NB on the 10 year Anniversary 992. Not exactly the same color scheme but similar vibe to me. An easy cop in my opinion. Thanks for the review! 👍🏻

NB loves calling shoes "Rain Cloud". This is 4th 2002R called "Rain Cloud" that I can think of... The Protection Pack, ML2002RR (Greyish blue), M2002RWB (Light purple) and now this one. And they all look very different. They all do have a dark grey "Rain Cloud" color, but it's never the main color of the shoe. Castlerock and Marblehead are also popular names... but for this shoe it's odd they went with Rain Cloud over Marblehead. These are nice, but I have my eye on a different Marblehead 2002R. It's the Gore-Tex version (M2002RXB) where it looks faded and distressed (but in a good way, not like the distressed Protection Pack). That CW is called: "Marblehead/Moon Shadow". I hope they get a Canadian release.

When you say tts, should I based this per men sizing? I wear a women’s size 8, so would a size 8 be to big or should I convert my size 8 to a men size 7? Please advise

Yes tts men’s sizing, I’m not exactly sure if NB men’s to women’s equivalent is 1.5 or 1, probably best to try them on first if at all possible

Do these fit the same as the rainclouds or 1906 protection packs ? I size my kicks the same as you said , but the new protection packs fit half a size big like 990s and 550s ..... does the 2022 protection pack fit that way too ?
