I am not a sneakerhead but everybody has Jordans now. They all just kind of blend in with each other and don't pop or stick out anymore. Nobody really rocks New Balance. So, they stick out more. At least where I live. That is how I feel.

Great video review!! I've just ordered some 996 trainers. I've had 574s before in the past and the quality is second to none however im not keen on the squared taper at the end of the feet anymore I wanted a trainer more with a pointed style at the end. I would of thought pound for pound the 996s would of had the double stitching hence the more expensive price rather than the cheaper 574 versions having them? Again great video keep up the good work and stay safe pal!

squared toe box is what you want for your feet as they naturally contour to the shape of your toes and dont squish them inward like a V. Pointed style is the worst toe box for your feet for that reason. Just ask any podiatrist. But at the end of the day, they're you're feet.

That 966 in the video is made in USA. Mine (cm996bg) have printed back "newbalance" like the 574 in the video, and the insole is the same as the 574. I have it for very steal price ~55 usd (1.250.000 vnd) and it's one of the most comfortable shoes i own. So i won't spend that much for the made in USA version unless you're American and support your country product.

70 bucks more in USA? Here in Germany the 996 are only 10-20€ more expensive and for some colors there isnt a price difference at all. Definitely going for these then, thank you very much :)

Awesome review! The shoe lace length is also that long because you haven't fully laced the shoes up, if the runner's loop or even upper eyelets were used the laces would be shorter. Plus you can just buy shorter/longer laces, whatever your preferences are, laces are replaceable. Love how you styled your shoes!

I saw in another comment you said that the 574's were in the grey colorway but in pictures they look much darker than in the video. These look closer to the nimbus cloud colorway than the grey but I'm not sure if it's just the lighting. I just want to make sure I get the right pair. Great video btw!

Your 574s in this video look like a really light grey, and don't look like the classic grey 574s. *Just checked and I'm 100% sure you have the nimbus cloud colorway. I would suggest US 10 if you don't have any preference on shoes. Personally, I like it a bit bigger than my size so I would go 10.5

I had the same size for both and they fit the same. 996 feels realllllyy little bit looser but that can easily be adjusted by tightening your laces.
