I've worn both and the v5 has a more roomy toe box -- a big plus in my opinion. I couldn't wear the v4 because the toe box was tight both on top and on the sides. I like the look of the v5 much better too. Great comparison, Dylan. Thanks!

Great comparison. Thanks, Dylan. A question about the outer Encap material. On the v5 the Encap color is gray. On the v4 the Encap color looks like a yellow-green color. Is the Encap material really the same on both shoes? Just wondering why the color difference. Thanks.

I have these I actually have a new balance collection but in my opinion I feel like the V4s are better not just that but they’re also smaller and more comfortable on your feet the V5s fit long and wide on your feet I’m not saying the V5s are bad but I like the V4s waaaaaay better whoever see this get you some 990v4s and you’ll see the difference how better they fit on your feet

I loved the v4. I HATE the v5!! The 5 has no arch support! I hope the v6 corrects this problem.

The v4 in my opinion is so much better looking than the v5. Where actually, the v5 is the ugliest of all within the series. Now i dont look forward for the next new model anymore. Too bad New Balance completely screwed things up.
