I like wide base shoes like this, very stable and can help me standing for a bit longer with less stress on my knees. My Brooks Caldera 6 that i'm using is awesome. If NB could release the Extra Wide 4E version of the shoes, one of the very first customers would be me.

I have the More v3 in a 4E, most merciful. But I think you may be correct that the v4 was tough to get in 4E. I liked the v3 better, so I didn't search deep on the v4, though.@@AlexFilitti

More v4 also has 4E. All 860, 880, 1080, and More series shoes go up to 4E width - it's a wide-footer's paradise lol👍.@@AlexFilitti

I own a pair of v4s and they are comfortable but feel large underfoot. The new version is even wider? That worries me a bit. Hopefully there is enough increase in energy return to offset that expanded base. That puts me on the fence waiting for some real life reviews for now. Thanks for the early peek at these.

Completely agree. I have FF More V3 and V4 and they are heavy, wide, and flat-soled...the More at 11+ ounces per shoe feels like the 1080 but stripped of its virtues of rocker and lighter weight. To me, the NB FF More feels like a "dead fish" on each foot.

They changed the toebox in the V4 to a narrower one which was dumb, I much prefer the fit of the V3. But V4 feels slightly more cushioned to me which I like@@tomw4020

I like the v3. The mesh improved in the v4, but they added stack height and reduced the volume. I wish they would go back towards the v3 but it looks like they haven't.

I really like v4. I got 3 shoes of v4. Its Best working shoes ever. Because firm cushions support me always. Getting older, my Achilles tendon is now getting weak. But 4mm hilldrop was not suited for work or walking. I put more cusion in heel. Now i see v5 looks more hilldrop like 1080v13. I am really looking forward to it. And please release white color.

Hoke are rubbish for softness. I expected them to be cloud like and they weren't at all...cloudsurfer, nimbus and especially fresh foam new balance are in a different league.

Loved the V3, V4 was even better although The foam was more firm. The V4 is perfect for me as a noob runner (6.10min for 10km), midfoot strike with a bad knee (decades of Tennis) as it's super cushioned and also heavily rocketed. V5 appears to have lost this rocker as even when it was being held in the video, it looks very flat. This would be a shame because it was also very nice to walk in because of it

MoreV4 upper was very low (less volume) which caused issues for me. Also, I didn't like the midsole at heel, for me, it was sloppy. Only looks were good. The midsole/outsole at heel seems to be changed in this version. But I'm not sure about the volume. I think better suited NB would be 1080V13 for people like me.

Yeah, that midsole gap under the heel wasn't great for some of us. Glad to see this look more like the v3. Fair enough, that this V5 may be too much of a wide bulk-monster for some. Personally, I kinda like that, but I also prefer 'stable geometry' over excessive soft-squish. We'll see.

Hope this one has a better fit. The sidewalls on the v4 gave me the worst blisters, even though I got them in a wide! Had to sell them off after 43 miles.

Had the same problem. Very rigid sidewalls that were strangely very narrow for a show that looked very wide. Had to change the insoles to make it work.

Same foam in midsole in both models, so the More v5 will be softer than the 1080v13.

More V3 was my favorit, the enegie arch at the V4 ruined the shoe for me. Always had the feeling that you fall back while standing. Let's see if V5 gets me back

After trying the 1080v13 after the more v4 - the older fresh foam x formulations should just be obsolete. It’s no contest. If you haven’t tried sorta the more v4/1080v12 - don’t. Try the 1080v13 & wait for these

Now THAT"S an ugly shoe. Is the foam cheaper than the cost of the upper material? I'm definitely guessing so. look how shallow these uppers are getting. The heel slip is bad on so many of the shoes for me personally. They also make these shoes for people with smaller and more narrow feet. Big and wide feet don't fit very well in these shoes. I need an extra wide
