Awesome! Never heard of the Glideride Max having a low volume toe box - could ft my low volume feet with low instep very well! :) Hopefully, also then heel is not that high volume. Everything smaller and lower volume than the Nimbus 26 would be nice for me. Since tghe high stack and the softness (the gel?), i feel like I'm a bit wobbly inside the Nimbus 26. I just notice it ever so slightly when walking. I therefore think about not just sellin the Nimbus, but replacing them with the Kayano 31. I would use it also for going to work or a evening walk. Damn, I have too many shcoes already and can't wait for my knee problems to get better that I can run again :) Sadly, just asphalt here in the city, and around the city, to get a bit ferest trails, they are steep incline! No decend ascents and decents, just brutal (for me) courses. And +15 min road to get there + the same home. Before christmas there is shoulder surgery, THEN we will see how it's going to be with the knee at the end og January ;)

Great job as always! I’d love to see how these two compare with the Glycerin Max and the MagMax. And specially the Glycerin Max vs the MagMax, indeed!

Helpful informative review. Glad to see NB firmed up the shoe, it was a bit too mushy for my tastes. But I also have stayed away from the high stack Fresh Foam shoes out of concern for the longevity of both the outsole and the foam. The GlideRide strikes me as being very similar to the Saucony Hurricane 24, which is a shoe I own and like quite a bit. I think it is an underappreciated shoe.

How does the 1080 v13, the more v5 and the Balos can be in the same line up? How would you shortly compare them? As always, thanks for your insights!
@run-areАй бұрын
I think that they are all too similar to be used in the one line up. The Balos is just like the 1080 but more rockered, more bounce and more fun but they are best suited to the same runs. The More v5 is a beefed up 1080. All best for easy / daily miles just the level of cushion and bounce differs in each. You could use any 2 and include another shoe for your faster workouts...SC Elite v4 is a great option if you want to stick to New Balance or the Rebel for a budget option.
