Paul, the wooden stair panels would look better if you had them painted black to contrast the gold. I'm referring to the part of the Hollywood staircase that has recently been painted all gold. Then the railings need to be a contrast of gold and black too. All in my opinion of course. The bar is looking much better though. Good progress. 😊

I love hearing Marika speaking. Reminds me of Eliza Doolittle in the musical version of Pygmalion. Mr Paul, may I suggest that you and Marika settle down one night and watch the musical "My Fair Lady" together before your nights get busy in the Marika and Me Bar. You could be Henry Higgins dressed all head to toe in in B B B Brown and Marika will be the star of the show. Marika might even learn a new song or too.
