As you rightfully said, most rimless frames lean towards being very sterile or very showy. I think this hits the right spot. While I'm sure it is priced appropriately, it wouldn't be my first choice. I'm sure though, for an eyewear enthusiast who is looking for the exact value proposition that this is (i.e. great rimless combination frame, classic style, good balance between ornate and minimal, precious metal finishing), it's a winner.

Another amazing video from Robert!!! The only brand that I would say is even comparable in price for 23ct gold plated titanium frames would be Chopard or Cazal and that’s even a bit of a stretch, plus that’s not taking into account how many microns of plating each brand uses for their gold. Also Cazal has very few glasses that are 23ct. Most are 18ct gold from my understanding. So hats off to Barton Perriera for this collection. The only critique I would have just like Robert is that they could have diversified the collection, by making some different rimless temple styles. I like the industrial look that the filigree in this collection gives, but I think they should have added some more ornate filigree to the collection as well to give multiple options for different customer bases. The somewhat industrial looking filigree suits a large portion of their customer base very well though. Love all of the acetate!!! Overall impressed though.

@@igormatovic5585 that’s true and they are titanium. So you could add that to the list. The only down side to that though I guess you could say is that the Reykjavikeyes don’t combine acetate into their Gold Collection frames and you don’t get the filigree. But that’s being a bit picky.

I think it's some zeiss program but as far as i know you have to scan your head in their 3d machine to create your own avatar.

Hi Robert! Wonderful video! But..i must disagree with BP decision to use strap+Screw attachment design. This is, IMHO, the least desirable method to attach frame to lens. Your opinion?

Like the other methods, it has pro's and con's. It's my least preferred, but it does give the glasses a premium feel even if that is somewhat misleading. I did make a video on rimless where I compared the different attachment techniques. Which is your preference? I like Flair but have a feeling you will disagree. The plug mounting system I guess is universal for a reason... I miss Hoya Avantek and Pinfeel.

The glasses that you are showing always have the perfect very thin lenses and so they looking amazing. I would like to see these same glasses with thicker 'real world' lenses. Lets start with -6.75 or something like that. Then put them on a middle age man with 3 kids and a mortgage. May he has a dad bod and a receding hairline and unmaintained stubble.

Imo the Jude is stunning but the rest of the collection is underwhelming. The tint on the Jude is so good - I once had (briefly) a Maui Jim Stillwater which is only available in a couple of antique metal colours and it really did not look good at all. But the pairing of the antique coloured frame with this tint by BP really works to create a vintage vibe. Unfortunately the rest of the collection is a bit boring imo. The thing with rimless frames is since you can do so much customisation with the lens, I expect even more from the frame to stand out in terms of its shape, style, attention to detail etc. and it is disappointing to see that this collection is essentially all the same frame just with different colours. You mention the price point at the end of the video, at the ~£600 price point they're mainly competing against Matsuda and for me the winner is not BP
