NEW BARYON MODE NARUTO ASCENDS OVER ALL ONLINE!!! - Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Baryon Mode Naruto is one of the newly introduced characters in Storm Connections and let me tell you he is a great addition to the Storm franchise! His neutral game is amazing, his jutsus are great, his combos are outstanding and he is an overall beast in itself. The fact that he can combo after almost everything makes him a very unique character and a damage dealing machine! The flexibilty of building combos with him is what makes me enjoy him the most and I hope they will create more characters like him in the future. He is definitely a problem both as a point and assist character, so be sure to keep an eye out for him.

Baryon Mode Naruto got two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu is a giant Rasengan that he launches down on an opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be airborne and this can easily be confirmed with a normal dash. This can be considered as your main combo extension tool and it keeps you relatively safe on whiff because of its huge hitbox. It can easily break guards too, because it is a multi-hitting jutsu. There are a lot of combo routes that you can implement with this jutsu, so be sure to do your research on this in practice mode. My personal favorite one is connecting an ultimate after this jutsu. It just feels so satisfying to hit after a long combo and it can definitely throw your opponent off-guard!
His second jutsu is a beam that you shoot out towards your opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a crumbling state and you can easily confirm a combo after this with a chakra dash or with a ranged assist. This can also be used as a combo extension tool and it does a big chunk of damage on hit. Do know that this move also has armor on it, so you are safe when using this jutsu. The recovery frames are a bit on the long side though and this is also the window where you can get punished. You can ofcourse cover yourself with assists to not make this possible. Always use this move whenever you are absolutely sure you will hit your opponent or that you are safe when using it. This jutsu can also go through jutsus like almighty push and multiple ranged jutsus, so be sure to keep that in mind when playing against these types of opponents!
His awakening makes him a different type of beast. He gets access to two new jutsus here and they are both heavy damage dealers. His first one is a Rasengan that deals a ton of damage on hit. It also lets you teleport towards your opponent on activation, so it is a great pressure tool.
His second jutsu lets him hit the ground causing the opponent to be in a bounced state on hit. This move is a great combo extension tool that can be combined with his Rasengan. Definitely use all of these tools together and you will have a powerhouse of a character. Be careful to switch out before reaching the end of the awakening period, because you will be in a downed state. In this state you are open to any attacks and you cannot move during this period. Keep that in mind when using this awakening!
Overall, Baryon Mode Naruto is a great character and a pleasant surprise to the Storm series. Definitely hope they will make more characters like this in the future! Check him out if you haven’t already!
