I always prefer more looks. For me, that’s just how we see your creativity and get some inspo. Swatches are fine but they don’t tend to tell me much especially when the brand does real swatches, rather than photoshopped swatches on multiple skin tones

That pink shimmer is the whole reason I want that palette. I’ve been wanting a pink shade like that for awhile that actually looks pink and shifty. Usually those pink shades end up looking like whatever shift they shift once it’s on the eye.

LOVE the low lighting footage - it's stunning and one of the unique things I appreciate most about your channel. Thank you for going through all the trouble! It's so beautiful and helpful. The lighting really brings out the individual colors of the sparkle flecks that is so important with holochromes especially. Swatching over a dark base is SO fascinating to see! I purchased this palette and find it inspiring to see the transformations and imagine all the combinations. I want to eat these colors. Bathe in these colors. Just bury me in eyeshadows please. I doubt you'd regret picking Recently Deinfluenced too - but your wallet might!

Thanks again. Oh- an idea for a video- eye makeup tips and tricks, helpful tools, etc. For example, how to remove fallout- I can never get it fully off. How to approach a colorful palette if you feel intimidated or if you have to tone it down. Ways to use your palette’s more colorful shades when they scare you😅, choosing shade depths to go in which areas of the lid, different brushes and their uses (silicone, synthetic, natural, etc). I’m late to this video but I want to add that these swatches were incredibly well done. Seeing the combination of normal lighting, low lighting, eye swatches including with the mirror and then over a dark base showcased the shifts and what we can expect. Brands IG posts can sometimes be a little hard to visualise what it would truly look like but your review has it well covered & is the best I’ve seen in the Indi community. I hope BBB brings basic witch back soon! Edit: and the eye swatches for just the shimmers was perfect - I’m pretty certain my brother has just been diagnosed with the same eye condition where it feels like the cornea is tearing & he has dry eyes. He is struggling with it as he paints creatively and keeps getting blurred vision. All this to say make sure you take care of yourself with the swatching!

last question i promise lol: are the unearthly satin lip formulas a little thick/sticky to you? i adore how they can be mixed together but mine feel a little thicker/stickier than other lip formulas. maybe i should try adding a hydrating balm or gloss beforehand. the lip combo color you made looks bomb!!
