For players that 'dig in' the action/string height shouldn't be too low. Check first fret action as well as at the twelfth.

Turned out to be a bad string! I like a low action and light strings 😁

Also, the buzzing may be a result of your technique in plucking the string and whether the bass is laying down. It’s hard to tell what’s really going on with how close the camera is.

The string was doing that at all angles, flat and on its side. The action is exactly the same as the previous string which was the same guage, I believe the string is faulty, I'm going to put the old E on and see what happens!

Your string height is too low. Make sure your truss rod is straight, after that you may need to raise your saddles. If in doubt about how to do this, take your bass to a repair tech. They should charge about 50 dollars for a basic setup.

I had this issue I replaced the nut and I was good to go 👍

I had that on the Hohner B I had, but the brass nut on this is still like new after all these years !

what kind of pickup do you have? had a similar sounding issue on an electric guitar where the neck pickup was loose and vibrating

They are well screwed in, I've had buzzes from bridge saddles before too, but this definitely a string being knackered straight out of the box

They are Warwick strings, only had this issue once before, but have complained to them, and the retailers!
