Idea for next video= How and WHEN to start your own Kingdom/permanently join a faction - Edit. I see a few good comments about how to do it but it can be pretty overwhelming for a new player like me. There is so much to learn and the game changes the further you get :) (and the next video after that could be a How to manage a settelment for more updated content)

I second this. Never know when it's the right time. Plus, I always just power through to get my own Kingdom as soon as possible. Flesson19 has some good videos and he would probably recommend having a huge bank and lots of people who like you so you can basically hire them to join you.

Clan Tier 5 or 6. As long as you're not in a kingdom, no one will declare war on you. You can siege down rebellions easily this way and stockpile denars while also declaring war on ALL minor factions. If you leveled Steward or have a Steward companion, clan tier 1 troop size is more than enough to do this. The reason for wars with minor clans is to farm renown.

Yup I feel this, I've been playing for 2 days straight (kinda addicted..). Won 25 tournies, got the hang of combat, basic understanding of tactics on Battlefield. Wanted to see Mercenary work to get an idea of Sieges / defences etc. I joined Bantanoian clan leader after he asked me, he was at war with other culture and also internally within clan. For 2 hours I was making serious money, levelling up and having a blast. Then peace was declared and its been 5 hrs IRL with nothing going on. Hopefully not a glitch as I'm gonna stick with it and try usurp this pussy clan leader. Going to take a while as I've a lot to learn.

@@boogiewookie77 yea sounds like ypu are doing well so far. I can see how joining a faction as a vassal is easier since you have back up. I ended up goinh solo and hammered Sturgia all alone. I must have spend like 2 hours irl fighting them and ended up with 3 cities and a few castles. Tough :b I had to do so much research before hand and during the wars to figure out what to do. I found that hiring/making minor clans join you helps a ton

Worth it btw, I should drop by more often. I did also notice a heated debate about the knight Vs...the sturgia unit. On horseback I would give the advantage to the Knights but on foot they fall alittle behind. The strugian units really excel in that area, so let's say you have a siege your cav is effectively just another infantry group and those big shields are very nice. The druznnik (idk how to spell it) in things new update is almost better than the bannerknight. It routinely does just as good if not better at killing infantry and dominates when dismounted (sieges) the bannerknight is better at fighting other cavalry but the cataphrach does even better. The khans guard still outperforms everything tho

The best way to utilize Calvary is to have them follow you and go straight through without stopping enemy lines. The AI absolutely LOVES to make Calvary just stop and fight rather than charge properly. Player controlled formations always do better, especially Calvary

38:27 don't trade horses in the beginning of the game. You will make 0 profit on them until the economy settles over 100 days in. I bought horses in the horse city in Aseri (I forget what it's called, the one that starts with an A in the far SW). I went to every other city on the map and none of them offered anything close to making a profit. They killed the early game horse trading strat.

Greatly appreciate all your Bannerlord content! You mention needing to scale down difficulty a bit due to the enjoyment of the audience. One thing I picked up in my career in communications is that people do enjoy watching failure and effort to get back up. You could use a video title like "watch me get smashed by the AI in this new Battania campaign." I'd wager it would lead to an increase in views. In short, underlying reasons for this are that viewers unconsciously enjoy seeing emotion of a type they can identify with. It will also add to your storytelling naturally. It might be a bit more of a frustrating playthrough for you at first, but possibly more rewarding when and if you overcome the challenges! A small example of the emotion part already being utilized by you is the part where you briefly address issues with your puppy. There you positively triggered all the right things for any viewer who can relate to the emotions relating to dogs or animals in general. Proof is in the comments of people responding to it.

How do you get the game to work with mods now? My game keeps crashing. Im assuming its because i have some nexus mods and installed one from the steam workshop. im not sure.

I'm using steam mods where I can and some nexus mods if I have to (nexus is a trash company so I try to avoid them) so it's not mixing that's the problem. It may be because of version mismatched. Try unsubscribing from your steam mods and re-subbing, apparently, that can force update them. Also for mods that use Mod Manager. There was an update to that library and it requires all the modders to update their mods manually to be compatible. A good way to find out which mod is causing crashes is to enable them one at a time and when it crashes you know which specific mod is causing the crashes and narrow it down from there. I'd start with that. Hope this helps!

@@DHunt88 you need to delete ALL of the folders associated with ALL of the Nexus mods after uninstalling ALL of the Nexus mods THEN reinstall up to date Nexus mods, or don't use Nexus mods.

I forgot to save my game and it crashed right after I rebuilt my army and got my money back after..."The Incident" Thats my only complaint. You have to save games religiously because it may crash on you.

been looking at your videos a few days now since i started playing this game, you not only put out real good content but you and flesson are a mountain of good info about the game so since you helped me out i will help you out with your doggo problems, the way you described your problem, you on a walk etc and its all good then you come home and the doggo starts acting out, he wants more of your attention. Some are very clingy and no matter how much attention they get as soon as they loose it they start doing shit to get it back, whining is quite common as it usually incites an immediate response in you. I have one at home with similar attitude inclinations, she dont whine tho but comes to me and sits so she's touching me and starts looking towards my eyes to get engagement, she does the same when for example i am mad at her. So this is kinda tough to fix as it can occur that as a result of you fixing this will make the opposite happen, especially if its a real smart dog like mine (mine picks up on the smallest face queues, for example, if i blink with my right eye in a certain way she knows to speak up, if i just make the movement with my mouth for ball but no sound comes out she still starts freaking out just like when i say it out loud) it can go in the other extreme very easy and you end up with a dog that has 0 engagement with you, as in their logic well you told them so. You said you have kongs right?What i would do is first i would start with smaller treats, like, you come home from the walk or whatever and when dog would whine first you tell him to stop when he stops you reward (if you have clicker even better, if you dont i would reccomend, especially in these cases like yours it can come in handy instead of treats) , repeat this for about 30 minutes increasing time increments between treats and if he is really good for those 30 minutes then you give him a kong as reward. This way its alot less likely that it will go into the other extreme as there will still be engagement on your part. You mentioned he had diarrhea for a few straight days, i would get him checked out for worms if i were you, some can stunt their growth and really hurt them in the long run, you need to be really carefull about this one, as puppies they eat all kinds of shit, mine had a thing for lizards for example, and because you cant really controll them in that regard its a good thing to get them checked for worms. Another nice thing are active coal tablets, for dogs ofc, they help them calm the stomach down if its just something weird they ate. Ohhh now i see, its an aussie, aussies are their own thing when they whine, they are similar to huskies and rotties in that regard, all those are kind of "talking" dogs, at least i call them that. The whining can just be him cussing you out for bringing him home from a walk too early now that i know he's an aussie, my older dog has an aussie boyfriend, they still love eachother even tho she cannot pleasure him anymore, we tried to have a litter with them but ended poorly, nearly lost her in the process, instead of preagnant she got an infection, her uterus should weigh 20g's when normal, when they took her's out it was almost 2 kg....aussies should love obedience and agility maybe with those 2 you can get him to wear out enough so he would want to go home and rest :D

The very next day: WE ARE SCREWED!!! I get my first fucken castle given to me after a long an arduous assult. ONLY FOR A 1200 troop strong army to come and take my castle, followed by wiping out the remains of the Sturgian forces. Fudge 😅

@@FOS1993 an easy way to earn influence while a vassal is to do quests while not at war and force peasants to give recruits/supplies while at war.
