Looks super fun! There's also class tuning that need to happen, e.g right now Windwalker Monk looks totally OP, so that will always impact outcome of BGs.

Looks interesting. The only thing that has me worried is the comment about damage/healing. In a meta where people die fast when heals are gone but people are gods when heals are up is a recipe for RMP dominance (shadowlands) where we had entire tournaments played where every team had RMP. I have nothing wrong with RMP per se, but when it becomes so dominant that it is the only real comp (like shadowlands) then that is a major problem.

Battlegrounds are THE PvP experience in wow for me. If they go ham on BGs I’ll come back to this game in a heartbeat. Arena has gotten far too intense for me. It’s all stress and no fun for me these days.

Personally I wish they would get rid of all BG’s every new expansion and just put 5 BG’s every expansion. Two 10 Man - Capture the Flag, and a 3 Node Holding (Gilneas Style). Two 15 Man - 5 Node Holding (AB Style), and a Unique Game Mode. One 40 Epic BG - Unique I don’t like the pool of BG’s being so large tbh… and some of them suck and wish they could be washed out of the list every time there is a new expansion.

The way you phrased the issues with healers makes me think that you're not at all playing Battleground Blitz or Random Battlegrounds as often. As this situation is actually also present in those game modes in retail today. It also makes me fearful that Blizzard will simply focus on even more CC for PvP, which would kinda suck.

Meaningful HP bar is the key. Let players have time to push their buttons, at the same time no one wants endless combat. If you are at 50% hp then you should feel that you are not at top, but not dead either. This is wow not a mobile game. They finally put pvp back on track in DF, but far not enough.

yeah it's really a shame ranged classes can't just jerk off doing uncontested damage to melee from the top. I hate having to use my full kit in pvp

Only MM can reach the track from the ground and vice versa, the distance is greater than 40 yards so all ranged don't dominate from the top of the track. And MM can only shoot from there to the ground for 6 seconds after pressing SS, so for 4 seconds they would need to wait to SS again. Doing damage from the rail won't be effective for anyone. I guess an MM could run all the way up there to start hitting someone and hop down when the SS buff ends, but it's still not a great time investment to go up there.

i like that bg. im not liking the buffs classes are getting. a lot of classes that are being buffed already high damage even to high. arm warriors, dh, monks, rouges mm hunter needs nurfing. i play healer mostly and found healers are struggling do to extremely high damage. i realized these classes are played by sponcered players but needs to look at all players and not being tunnel vision.
