As for the missing spell, it's *probably* either an archetypal "battlin' boxing" rank up magic spell as to be searchable by these new cards OR its a card that searches a rank up magic from deck. This is because 3 of Alito's 4 numbers now have rank ups and Alito himself played both Rank Up Magic Barian's Force and Rank Up Magic The Seventh One, but he has exactly 0 cards in his anime deck or tcg/ocg supports that searches a rank up magic. So for C79, C80, or C105 to be playable to their fullest potential you kind of need a searchable rank up. Oh, and something you should know about C79: regular Number 79 can attach a battlin' boxer from hand or grave once per turn - so if you use a rank up to go into C79 via regular 79, C79 will have 4 materials, making it 2 activations of its negate effect.

Battlin Boxer looking like it could be kinda nutty. To speculate on what kind of support Salamangreat could get, the archetype already has Fusion, Link, Ritual, and XYZ monsters, so it’s highly possible they get a Synchro and potentially an in archetype tuner monster. Although, what the archetype would need them to do, I don’t know.

It feels pretty likely, since there isn't a actually a Battlin' Boxer Spell yet (not that I could find at least and based on set numbers the missing card is either another xyz (rank 3 maybe), a spell or a non-counter trap. But since they made a Number C it feels like the obvious choice would be to make a rank up spell. Maybe give it an effect to attach an extra material to Caesar so it and the base form's effect to just attach a boxer from grave means it starts with 5 mats before using the battle effect

Yo, they actually printed a rank up "Number C", this one here is the first one printed that didn't appear in the zexal anime (all numbers have a theoretical "number c" upgrade in the anime, but they're created via "rank up magic" spells mid-duel and not every number is summoned in either the anime or manga... let alone ranked up). So this is a nice thing to scratch off the wishlist, and makes me hopeful that the other archetypal numbers get rank ups to "complete" said archetype. It's very, very annoying to me that only 1 of the 3 chronomaly, 3 heraldry, and 4 numeron gates have rank ups (each).

I haven’t finished the video yet but uppercut has the 200 def stats (which is always cool for FIREs ofc) and can search flamvell counter which is a S/T negate that banishes a 200 def fire from grave, idk how detrimental it is to banish uppercut but it seems worth it for a DRNM counter that doesn’t require a body on field

I wasn't too eager for Battlin' Boxers, since i felt that it would be one of those archetype where you only play the new stuff and very little to nothing of old ones (kinda like Naturia or Ice Barrier) or that would lean a lot in their "one gimmick" (kinda like Amazoness), and... well, I wasn't wrong, they are in the first option so at least i can say that these cards are good and somewhat playable. I can totally see a new RUM for the archetype as the last card. Now, I'm both excited and worried for Salamangreat, they need very little (in my opinion only a GOOD link boss monster would do wonders) but that's the thing, they would give it that? or they would go in a different direction with a gimmicky boss...

Battlin’ Boxer promoter is crazy, if this card resolves it ends on 2 Battlin Boxer rnk 4’s since u ss the monster searcher and the extra ns, and this deck has Switchitter which is a wolfbark essentially, so u can end on Lead Yoke + the new rnk 4 searching the new trap off a single card which is really strong for what the deck could do before

Ugh. I dislike Salamangreat and Soulburner as a character, but if there's someone out there who loves this deck as much as I love Lunalight, then I can be happy for them. The battlin boxer support isn't the most exciting as I thought it'd be, but those new main monsters are a huge boost to the deck, so that's awesome. The last archetype could easily be something like Flame Swordsman, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Volcanics. More burn archetypes is always welcomed and who knows, maybe they could be splashable with Windwitch since they can use a good consistent burn engine for their boss monster. Here's hoping 🤞🤞🤞

And summoning the original can grant you a float if you choose to attach counter as a material,which then won't let u recover it with the lv4s effect on resolution of chain. neither are solid options that warrant summoning either in 2019s game, let alone today's game,

I can’t believe Konami has heard my cries to give Battlin’ Boxers new support! Now they need to give: UAs Gravekeepers (actual ones they can use not other decks and just their artwork) Krawlers :all new support too! The Battlin’ Boxers should get a field spell called Battlin’ Boxers Boxing Ring! Effects should be, a BB card searcher, monster effects on field cannot be activated except for BB monsters during battle phase, BB monsters get a 500 ATK/DEF boost, and if a BB monster is destroyed by battle or card effect special summon the destroyed monster back to the field during the next stand by phase in Defense position but their effects are negated until the end phase of the next turn. Something to simulate going rounds in a boxing ring. 😆

It's kind of sad that these cards aren't really good, like it fixes some problems of Battlin Boxers but they defnetly won't be meta relevsant (not even the XYZ searcher because Infernoble don't get 2 level 4s on the field and they make Charles and Charlamagne with Connecter and you'll have follow up) but for a fun deck it's nice support I guess? Like Rank 4 Toolbox got much weaker (and then probably just play XYZ Lunalight, I guess for a better deck) over the time but maybe a few cards will see play (specifically Promoter) but there will probably better cards for that (example Connecter for Isolde) But if you're (for some reason a Battlin Boxer player) hey, you've got good support with this but don't expect to top locals or so

Like give them a Spell and make it completely busted Like a Field Spell which gives all the monsters like targeting and destruction protection, a boost of 500 for every Battlin Boxer on the field, it gives 2 normal summons, once per turn add a Battlin Boxer to the hand from the deck Like this would make them probably way more competitive because this card is absolutely pushed but yeah Edit: No the field spell should also give Battlin Boxer XYZ Kaiju immunity and make the XYZ Towers (exept for Battlin Boxer cards), and indestructible by battle (they are BATTLIN Boxers after all)

And maybe a Rota like Noble Knights has (so search a Monster or a Spell/Trap or even both) Like the cards are not bad or anti synergy (like Buster Blader) but like I said, these are nice cards for a fun deck And Konami could build of these but they need nearly a complete "redesign" or just print enough cards to not play the old ones anymore (similar to Infernoble Knights)

These cards seem decent. There's nothing crazy, but it should all help. The deck was hurting for playables. It's a shame these new cards are so boring. Lead Yoke was a house in the day, and to this day he is unique and interesting. These cards are just, what if more summons, stratos/rota, negate. It's that modern support problem where every deck is functionally the same with different art. I would have liked to have seen a bit more unique flare. And why is the hand trap chump blocker a hard once per turn? Is there a world where you can infinite loop block with it? Lol.

I mean before the new supports BB don't really have much of an identity besides their artwork anyway, that's pretty much a handful of Zexal's anime archetypes. I guess Konami could have done more with them, like how they gave the 500lp gimmick to Heroic, but overall I am alright with it. At least for future supports, Konami can focus on giving them an identity. I guess they could have focused more on counter traps since that was Alito's thing in the anime.
