New BBC News Countdown and intro mock

The countdown sounds like a remix of “News Channel 2024” and either WN 2002, WN 2003 or N24 2003? Imo, I thought the addition of the 2002-2003 era funky synths sounded odd with the “2024 countdown”. The news intro and outro sounds like Newsroom Live from 2019. The hold sounds like WNA 2020. I forgot if Newsroom Live had a hold, my impression is that they didn’t have a hold. Personally, I will prefer to stick to the current news opening theme. 0:25 sometimes I wonder if the “2024 countdown” should have included the funky synth from the 2006 countdown which is heard at this part. Off-topic - between the N24 1999 countdown and N24 2003 countdown, which will u prefer? 1999 has more focus on synths, and it continued building the climax till the very end where the synths got louder and ended with one loud stab (I like this part). Apart from the funky synths in the 2003 countdown, the last 30 seconds of the countdown seemed to have more emphasis on strings. My favourite part is when the violin pitched up by one octave one second before the higher-pitched beeps were heard. However, the ending of the 2003 countdown sounded less intense than the 1999 countdown.

I prefer the 2003, if i'm honest. it is a slight remix of its predecessor, and i like how catchy the beats were, especially when the "dotted rhythm" baseline made its debut, and when the syncopated "indian drums" started playing. And of course, I like the addition of the 2001 World Countdown synths, heard here.

How did you manage to get solely the 1999 sound effect at 0:14 without having other elements of the 1999 theme heard? Did you use that app/website you mentioned previously to separate the instruments?
