I bought the model before this one, the more expensive version. I thought it was a stupid buy, overpriced luxury jacket. Now it's basically the only jacket I use on my bike, so comfortable, also not too hot, and with the vest (that was included but not anymore) I went though mountains, rain, etc. Went though a 5000km trip, looks spotless. Now I know why they are so expensive.

Erm, the Trialmaster was copied from the Barbour International in 1949…..

They're both copies of military field jackets. IMO both are original enough in direction.

@@tom23245 during WW2, Barbour designed it as a one piece over suit for the Royal Navy, in 1948 they adapted the top half as a jacket for motorcyclists. In 1949, Belstaff copied it and called it the Trialmaster. IMO my research is correct, but you can verify this for yourself.

Hi, depending on use but re-waxing jackets is always best to keep them looking fresh and provide a longer use. - Iza

Seriously over priced. Triumph own brand are just as good and a quarter the price.
