I've got the burgundy mini adamas, limited edition. It's a beautiful knife and is probably a perfect pocket knife, for me anyway. Good weight, feels sturdy, feels comfortable in the hands, great steel, etc... I don't have any complaints.

It seems that you can't have it both ways...made in the USA and affordable. Now that the Axis lock has lost it's exclusivity...the Chinese knives are hard to beat...though SOG is coming out with a few affordable new models.

Been a HUGE Benchmade user, collector, and overall fan since the mid '90's and always will be, and for several reasons. A few of these new models definitely caught my eye like the new Bugout as I've been wanting to pick one up.

Benchmades are great but their automatics that utilize the axis lock are defective. The omega springs that activate the lock will both break within 4 to 6 months of owning the knife. The remedy is to buy music/piano wire and fabricate your own springs. The music wire has a much stronger tension than the stock springs. The custom wire also eliminates the up and down play that comes with the original weak springs not engaging the lock hard enough.

They really do need to take a look at the omega spring material. Especially for the prices they charge. I also like benchmades. But won't be buying anymore. I have a bugout, mini grip, and Osborne. And every single one has broken the springs within a few months of purchase. Ive sent the bugout in for broken springs 3 times in the year and a half ive owned it. Very annoying.

Everyone's bitching how the prices went up or are too expensive. Well first of all they all got upgraded steel which would make the cost go up vs 154CM and alot of other companies prices have increased as well. Plus these aren't made in a Chinese sweat shop and carry a REAL lifetime warranty unlike most others.

Even considering that they're made in America and come in nicer blade steels, they're STILL charging too much. The competition is charging less for American-made pocket knives in fancy steels for less, meaning Benchmade could too, and it's ridiculous to pretend otherwise. I say this as an owner of a Mini Crooked River in 20CV, mind you. It's a weird feeling to own (and not regret buying) something that you could never *ever* recommend someone else buy.

I bought the carbon fiber bugout and was so disappointed in it. The blade had play in it and the action was bad. But I couldn’t tune the blade play out of it cuz then the blade was too tight.. loosen up the pivot and then there was blade play again. Totally bummed me out. Ended up returning it for a refund. Maybe eventually I’ll take a chance and buy another one and hope for better results.

Hi guys how are you? I am waiting for Benchmade to create a mini Bailout. I believe the Bailout is really underrated. The Benchmade Turret would also be a good everyday knife that can possibly be made a lighter on the handle. Just like the Adamas the Turret should be done over if Benchmade wanted to and possibly add a glass breaker. The Bugout and Bailout need glass breakers.

The Benchmade Valet is a great small knife if not the best I have handled but how about making the bigger Valet? I just enjoy that knife so much especially if it came semi serrated but that's just my opinion. Please create a bigger Valet and a smaller Turret you guys won't regret the sales. I am always thinking on how to improve what I own but I am not a Benchmade employee just a customer.

I gotta imagine thats a ton of Reates, Kizers, WEs, Stedemons and so on. The filter options are impressive, gotta hand it to you guys, but even they can't always keep up with your inventory lol. I might just be weird but sometimes I don't want to filter and I just wanna kinda see everything, but not have to see everything. Hello, received mine in France. But after observing the edge in x80 magnification, I noticed that it was not regular. Several irregular micro teeth all along. Everything is back to normal after sharpening. I ask myself the question: is this normal for the game BENCHMADE. I received ZERO TOLERANCE, RUIKE, CIVIVI and I did not have this kind of problem.
