I am in your age range also. I will be 64 in two months and my bio hair is long approximately 17 inches, however I wish they would make more wigs in the 14 to 16 in range just a little shorter that were straight or had only a slight wave to them. I got my Kushikamana 18 a couple days ago and I absolutely love it, but boy the front hairline/part is really wonky and I’ve never steamed a wig, but I think I’m gonna have to do this one -so I’m a little afraid.😢

Hi CC, I agree, some shorter ones would be perfect. I'm sorry to hear about your Kushi. I have 2 and love them. Steaming isn't difficult. Just be careful with your lace front and keep the steamer moving. Clip in back and allow the fibers to cool. You can also use a curling iron at no more than 320 degrees. Place the curling iron with the fibers pulled back, hold for no more than 3 seconds, then place your hand to hold it in place. Do this a couple of times, and the fibers will be trained back. I hope this helps. xoxo

Really nice style! I don't like the big hair look and the density on Bespoke is just about perfect. I'm glad to see the wig companies are still making medium and long styles. The color is amazingly realistic. I loved the look with the headband and I generally wear medium to long hair wigs down because the ones I have are so pretty. In warm weather I go with a topper.

It is just beautiful on you Marlene! I have Dolce & Dolce 18 in Mocha with Cream and love it. It is just like the hair I had as a teenager and into my late 30s. Eighteen inches is the sweet spot for me so I thought Bespoke would be a few inches too long and I did not pre-order it. But after seeing how lovely it is on you, I might have to rethink that decision! You should definitely keep this one -- gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

I am the same Marlene, l prefer less on top. Nothing screams WIG more than heaps of pouff on top on a lot of wigs, not all though. In saying that, this is a beautiful piece. The layers are so flattering and the color is wow on you. In terms of hair placement, this is a very balanced and realistic style.❤

Hi Inge, thank you so much! There are a few styles you may want to consider that are shorter with less density: Dalgona 16, Caliente, Peppermint. The nice thing with BT is that they're heat friendly so you can add some waves or straightened one that has too much curl for you. Most BT have less density than this one. xoxo Marlene

I agree with you…I want low profile/density especially on top and okay with normal density everywhere else. I have a round face and feel that a “helmet shape” which usually is a higher density/permatease wig and it’s really unflattering, personally speaking. I’m hoping to find a 18”piece (that is where I’m most comfortable) but may go longer if needed. If you had to choose between Bespoke or Locklan which one is the most realistic style/density to you? And is there any 18” style (other than the one you mentioned in this video starts with a K that you feel you love as well. Have you tried the 18” Peerless? Oh, that looks interesting, huh? Hi Carol, thank you for stopping by! I love Bespoke, but it does have a higher density than Locklan. Locklan also has a full mono top while Bespoke has a left part. It really comes down to your preference. If you prefer lower density vs higher, straight synthetic vs heat friendly, and a full mono vs a left part. The other that I love is Kushikamana. It's lower density than Bespoke and absolutely gorgeous. I have it in a few colors. If you want a closer look, I have a review on it. xoxo

I'm new to the wig world. To me the Belle Tress lace front looks like a line across your forehead verses Tressallure lace front wigs. Am I wrong? Hi Jen, Bespoke is longer by about 5 inches than Scene Stealer and have more layering especially framing the face. Scene Stealer also has a full mono top and this one has a side part. xoxo

Why do we get that lace lifting ? I have that with a brand new wavy day…are they defects with too much lace…the cap not fitting as it should? I’ve always wondered

Hi Jenn, I don't think it has to do with the lace but rather the fit. The first thing I do is tighten the adjusters and see if that makes it better. If it doesn't, then I loosen them. What has worked the best for me is making sure the wig fits comfortably with a wig grip and using It Stays to prevent the lace from lifting. Nevertheless, I feel this shouldn't happen. xoxo

Hi Marlene! 1st time on ure channel! Great video, really detailed!! Finally, a style EXACTLY like mine used to look like before menopause and my meds because of my spinal cord injury/paralysis 😢, however, sadly I am a right-part (that wording always turns me around because my hair goes to the left lol) girl so my question is, with this being a left-part, like most wigs I am seeing are, can Bespoke part AT ALL to the left? I know at the end you flip it over, BUT does it look natural still if I keep it on that side? Actually, can most Belle Tress be parted opposite (to the left) because they are my favorite brand, so far! Unless there is a sister to Bespoke, even from another company that has a full mono top? Sorry for the long post & all of the questions, I am a newbie, and don't own a wig yet so, I am scared to buy the wrong wig because they are really expensive for my budget, but I really need to buy one for my mental health and to make it easier on my mom & sis doing my hair. Hi Stacie, thank you so much for visiting. Unfortunately, Bespoke cannot be parted to the left and still have the illusion of scalp. Your best bet is going with a full mono top. BT recently released Lauren which is similar to Bespoke but Lauren has a hand-tied cap and full mono top allowing multi-directional parting. xoxo Marlene
