I am building buggy as wel. I dont think this list is the optimal build yet tho. This is more the stock list bandai also showed. I think Impel down Buggy is where he will shine

2 of our players play the Japanese side of OP, and we just play tested 09 Shanks and Buggy. They've built Shanks, Buggy & Blackbeard so we can try them out. Buggy is hella fun but it's a much more "think before you play" deck, unlike previous blue decks.

Imagine RG law, but you want to have a field full of 5 costs and access to only 1 color. I'll also say that removal in this deck just seems so counter intuitive to the cost curve. If you're wanting to utilize the leader ability you can't do it on red roc/gravity blade turns, so this is not what I would run in it. 5 cost events and below is where I would go. Probably events to either try and protect your field or give you more hand, like the pilaf shown.

you always play richie in buggy. No exceptions. Every japanese player i have seen runs richie but the one guy who won 1st is the only guy who doesn't run him.

Op08 is coming out and I've heard nothing and no coverage about it

Well that's because a lot of it was covered during the first week or two of op07, like how Op09 is being done right now. Mainly because of the Japanese format. But with the RP law ban it has changed the meta for what will be op08 so peeps are trying to figure out how to adjust to it before posting more content on it. Though I know some content creators are posting op 08 content right now and those that ain't have been for the past month or so. So a quick search shouldn't be hard to find. Joy boys has covered all the cards coming out by now so going there, find the leader your interested and search it and you will find a bunch with ease.

there's not much to say about op08, the cards are the same that they played in japan for the last three months, so once we know what the pre release promo is and what the treasure rare is, the new set is fully covered. if you're talking about meta coverage, we can't know for sure until we actually get to play the new format

Buggy isn't meh in 09. If you are judging based off the sim then you have to realize that it doesn't have the Mihawk blocker rn.

Its a really bad deck but this is nothing new for blue. The whole deck will most likely be cheaper than reiju was.
