For me no change but from what I'm hearing it just lowers the time it takes for the rotational aim assist to kick in when players change directions so if it was originally 0.2 its probably like 0.4 if that makes sense

Saw your vid on the Envision roughly 4 months ago saying it was the best controller ever. Like you said I see alot of posts with people bashing Scuf but you are still rocking an Envision in this video, is that your original Envision? No issues with it since you've had it since day 1 that they came out? I'm torn between getting the Envision or the new Wolverine V3. All my peripherals and a couple pc parts are all Corsair so I'm already very familiar with iCue, being able to set macros with the Envision thru that is pulling me more towards the Envision instead of the Wolverine V3. Appreciate your feedback thanks!

on console its real bad, console aim assist has been always stronger than on pc, now console aim assist is just as weak as pc aim assist while hipfireing, and on console you cant have 240 fps and 0 ping so it's just unfair, now we have to deal with low frames, bad ping and low aim assist

On console short range aim assist is non-existent. I spent 2 hours in creative aim trainers - half the time with aim assist on and half off. Almost not difference at close range.

@@Ginny-xq8pb I realize that, I play MKB, and I get disgusted seeing how hard I have to work to hit shots the way controller players have at certain points in fortnite's history when aim assist was rigged. Only for controller players to complain that it's "too hard" to do the same thing when they try MKB. Like maybe epic's devs shouldn't be putting the middle 30 percent of controller players on the same level aiming wise as the upper 15 percent of MKB players. I'm not that good but I'm easily in the upper 80th percentile for aim in most situations outside of extreme mobility flick shots.

I just started playing again. There's no way they nerfed it, I had to lower it to around 85% and it still felt too strong. I think they need to change the aim assist window size, not the strength.

Aim assist should be buffed not constantly nerfed, it’s so much easier aiming with a mouse. I didn’t even know there was an aim change till watching this vid I was missing so many shots on console. Glad to know it’s not just being off but also epic constantly making shit harder for controller players. Obv they don’t bother to actually play w a controller cause it shouldn’t be much harder for a noob on controller to aim if u think about it as if a noob on w a mouse would, I’m sure the noob w a mouse will always have a lot easier time just pointing at things and clicking rather than calculating how much to hold their thumb stick in a certain direction or flicking it etc

Aim assist has been so bad on switch compared to PS4/5 and XBox and this update has helped it a little bit so im not complaining but overall aim assist on switch still sucks. Great video keep up the good work

Aim assist isn't the problem. Getting shot by a curved bullet or not hitting when it obviously shows in replay, and folks taking more than 250 damage and surviving. I heard it's called d-sync? Idk. Console had more aim assist than PC. IDC what the change was as long as this equalized Console with PC aim assist. Compared to PC PS5 was aimbot. My aim feels exactly the same, especially for tracking, but I can feel the looseness of the aim assist kicking in when initially locking on, and I can feel a MASSIVE difference when versing console players with spray weapons. Having an easier time honestly.
