Wind barrier statue is still a thing back then. They search it out with simorgh and lock you out from special summoning. It's MDs first version of Ido/puppet lock.

While this makes sense, I think Konami mostly just pays attention to Duelist Cups instead. Always doing banlists afterwards.

Lyrisuc is probably my favorite XYZ deck. Its so good at doing what it does and that turboing a bunch of little birds out for crazy plays.

On its own that deck has insane OTK potential, protection from destruction and target, 2 crazy bosses 1 for otk, 1 that shuffles monsters on summon as many times as there is materials, has easy acess to best monster negate in game (utopic draco future) but also litteraly losses to any handtrap lol :( But if you add naughty tri-brigade deck flies to another dimension. Still very solid master deck that for his many combo and lines isn't too difficult to learn and doesn't punish mistakes always. One of my fav decks as well.

Destroying a spell doesn't negate it. It interrupts only continuous and field spells/traps, essentially negating it

You just destroyed the card not negate it so it will still be activatable not unless the card is needed to be faced up on the field to be able to activate if so, it will be no longer activatable if it was sent to the graveyard/banished.

Maxx C, Called By, and Puppet are the most sacky unfair cards in the game. Every game has been decided by those cards this tourney. Ban called by and put crossout to 3 so people have to deckbuild right if they want free sacky negates. Maxx c can stay but only if we do 3 crossout and no called by. And puppet should’ve been banned the second someone summoned it to their opponent’s field.

I'm not a Branded player, I have the Deck just for the Lore, I enjoyed Kashtira this format but without Fenrir and Ruler Getting banned, my two decks will give me crafting points to craft my Titaniklad and my Stake Your Soul (at least two), I don't like Puppet Lock, it's unfair and with Branded Lost it's difficult to deal with. Just ban it Konami.

It’s a pretty bad card, it’s a 4 card combo if you want a field wipe, so you have to have the full engine online. It only really works if you don’t get hand trapped, in which case you were gonna win anyways. I don’t even use it.
