In terms of Cylone Armor not really doing anything, I find it's often guaranteed to return you to full spirit (proc Earthern Might Key Passive) if you ever find yourself unlucky on lucky hit returns and low spirit, just use it when surrounded by mobs and 9 times out of 10 it will proc just because of how many enemies you're knocking back, multiple chances of it proccing.

Finally I got the last aspects I needed to try this build. Today was the day, I removed the whole paragon, put on my best clothes, upgraded everything and said: "Ok, let's give it a go, nothing to lose here". I've been a landslide bear/ pulverize all the way up to lvl 93. Man, you changed the whole game for this humble druid. This build should be illegal, lol.

I have like every druid unique twice or triple but I have no tempest.. Salvaging uniques should give you some sort of material to eventually craft the wanted unique. This is driving me nuts. I could essentially never see a certain unique for the entire gamecircle. Hope we see something like this in the future

Definitely need a vendor of some sort, I've had 3 mad glee, 3 of the other helmets, countless butchers axe, hunter zenith, Frostburn gloves, temerity pants etc but no helm 😢😢😢

Test using the edge master and retaliation aspect, get your crit chance to 40-50% then use lupine ferocity as your passive plus all the atk speed you can get. You get way more consistent and higher damage without relying on earthen might proc add a little spirit cost reduction on your boots/off-hand/amulet. You don't have to ramp up that long too.

@@elfire5381 Then you're pretty much good to go with that. Also, the gears dont require lucky hit stats if you are going this route. Up side of earthen might though is it's possible to proc back to back and you will deal shit ton of damage downside is you deal less without the proc. With edgemaster + retaliation aspect + accelerating + lupine ferocity you get 2-2.5M crit depending on your damage. Plus it's a consistent ramp up cause you deal fast dps you proc ferocity passive quickly.

So I agree that Earthern might is irrelevant if you have high crit and high cost reduction because at that point it’s built naturally into your build and so that frees up affixes in your gear to search for something else. However why Lupin over Perfect Storm? Firstly with Exploit glyph your guaranteed vulnerable immediately therefore getting 15% extra dmg EVERY hit not every 6th hit like Lupin states. Cumulative 90% over 6 hits. Plus If your crit is super high you don’t really need the guaranteed crit from lupin’s 6th hit. Right? Plus Perfect Storm gives you 1 extra spirit every time u use a nature skill. Add that to both of your ‘Reclamation (2 spirit on Kill)’ and ‘Lust for Carnage (2 spirit on werewolf crit)’ and your high spirit cost reduction and it flows very nicely. Now the two aspects I’m very much interested in. I’m researching them now

@@gerson7366 lets say you cast one tornado at 1K dmg per tick over 6 hits: Lupins ferocity 1000 dmg X 6 hits + 700 Lupin Proc bonus = 6700 Perfect Storm (1000 dmg X 6 hits) + (150 PS bonus X 6 hits) = 6900 And that assuming not naturally critically hitting. If you DO critically hit on the 6th hit you’ve effectively negated the guaranteed crit portion Lupins Ferocity states. Not the 70%. If I was going to run Lupin passive it’d be because my crit chance was to low and needed ways to guarantee the crit. Otherwise imma use perfect storm for 15% extra dmg as long as I can ensure Vulnerable.

@@elfire5381 The thing i noticed is, this is when i fought uber lilith after i've ramped up my crit damage, i get a bunch of 1-1.2M crits it doesn't go further than that then i get a casual 2-2.5M. If you want you can use ursine strength instead it has a x30 damage while healthy. It's a bigger multiplicative damage than x15 and you're always healthy anyway with the amount of fortify you have. I've tinkered around the passives while i was trying to beat uber lilith, earthen might, lupine ferocity, ursine strength and beastial rampage. And what i noticed is that i usually get up to a bunch of 1M damage and it doesn't go further than that, then because of lupine i get a casual 2-2.5M crits.

The glorious Tempest roar. Got my first one a bar into lvl 99. My second dropped at 100 about a week ago. Haven’t seen another since. But I did get both in nightmare dungeons as a random drop if that helps anyone.

Biggest issue is the Tempest Roar helmet, which just getting that, is it's own endgame activity in and of itself. Been target farming this for 2 weeks non-stop around NM40's but have gotten nothing but Vasily's instead, reckon about 20 of those. Worst part is, that in order to really have fun and unlocking a fan of the stronger builds, especially the warewolf builds, this helmet is mandatory. Had prefered if all the build defining uniques had been legendary aspects instead, and that all the uniques had then been focused more around crazy powergains. At least the actual grind had then been fun! xD

Level 100, still no tempest roar. Feels bad. D4 needs some kind of mechanism to either craft uniques, or just be like PoE and allow (and properly enable) full trading. Part of the fun of ARPG's is making builds, but especially for druid, so many of the good builds are tied to Tempest Roar, and it seems to be oddly rare compared to all the other druid uniques. (I've seen all the rest probably half a dozen times or more)

I absolutely loved the video. Very in depth. My build is almost identical to your own. Mine has way less lucky hit chance because I don’t use Earthern might. But it focuses more on spirit cost reduction and crit hit chance. Id like to argue that spirit cost reduction is more valuable than you may think. You argue that 1 single point of reduction is not that valuable but I’d like to suggest that AS YOU GET CLOSER TO 0 SPIRIT COST EACH POINT REDUCED IS SIGNIFICANTLY MORE VALUABLE. For instance 1 point taken away from 12 cost isn’t going to net you that many more tornados. But 1 point taken away from 2……… that’s literally double the amount of tornados you now get to use WITHOUT HOPING YOUR CRIT HITS REFUND YOU. And if they do…… they’ve just refunded you most if not all of your spent tornado. Spirit cost reduction is more valuable than you think imo.

Offensively still works the same way. Tornado damage and mad wolf’s glee actually got buffed. Defensively grizzly rage got nerfed to only the first 6 seconds being unstoppable so you gotta be careful not to get crowd controlled.

Help me understand something. All these Tornado Druid builds use Earthen Might, but it clearly states you need to use "Earth" skills for it to trigger. You do not use any earth skills... What am i missing here?

i played werenado for awhile and eventually left it. It's only ahead of the other builds in NMDs and World Bosses. For Helltides/Legion Events, PVP, and open world stuff it is slower since the tornadoes move slowly. Space is pretty restricted in most of the NMDs where tornado really shines or a world boss who barely move around much. It's pretty hard to get a kill with the tornadoes in PVP. Lately been messing around with lightning storm and really enjoying it. I feel it is a good all-rounder build.

Hey Nick, how do you survive with such low armor? I see you have 5K, I am running 5.3K but it feels like any mob that actually gets past my attacks can kill me very quickly, specially after tier 60. Can this low armor survive tiers 70 and on? We are just supposed to dry to kite everything and never get hit? Or are there some nice ways to improve armor? I have been working on dmg reduction everywhere, but my armor is very low on lightning druid. On my werebear and previous paragon I could get 8k base armor which made things much easier.

Im 94 and decided to switch back to Pulverize I'm so disappointed how boring and squishy this build is. Being CC'd all the time is frustrating. It's nearly impossible with Pulverize to get CC'd.

Ironically, I leveled up a Druid alt in five days to 90 recently just to see if they really were that much better than the Sorcerer (who I already knew was in an awful state), and they absolutely are. They have more than a single viable end game build, and funny enough, the Pulverize build before getting Shockwave felt a lot like the same Arc Lash/Ice Shards playstyle that revolved around Frost Nova since they both require you to be in melee range before blowing up packs. Didn't care about any of the uniques since season one was around the corner and it was just for testing purposes. Then three Crones dropped and one Tempest over the course of two nights. Still haven't even bothered to switch from Pulverize yet, and I know that in season one when I actually want those uniques again I probably won't see them for weeks after hitting 100. 🤣 Anyway, this build or the Shred build (there is a setting in the game that makes it auto dash from enemy to enemy) is what I'll be doing for speed farming.

I’m a level 100 Druid and still don’t have the tempest roar. I was helping my lvl 80 Druid buddy level up. He got the tempest roar around 90 and I still don’t have it. The game literally dropped him the most unique helm when I was doing all the killing/reviving. It’s really hard to not be irritated especially when the best builds revolve around that helm. I’ve grinded so hard with my Druid there’s no reason I should have 10 vasilys prayer but 0 tempest roars. That’s disgustingly disrespectful.

RNG is king. I have 1 Tempest, 1 Crone, and 5 vasilys ... got my Tempest at level 83 in a NM dungeon.
