You should replay with medium bases, like level 8-9 walls, and less maxed stuff because fully maxed th9 upgrades to th 10 right away

Yes you should max everything. Don't rush your base. The best way to get gold and elixir to upgrade stuff is to attack, and you won't get as much loot when you are at TH level 9 or 10 from lower townhalls, if you can't even scratch the other bases. I rushed my first base, and It was so hard to get loot because I didn't level up my troops. And then I couldn't get much loot to level them up because the bases were so hard to attack.
