Nice video - How sensitive is that rod? I've been super skeptical about collapsing rods. Would it hold up under a 25" fish?

After using the reel briefly on a single occasion (super hot temperatures), I noticed that the drag clicking mechanism is quite rough. At certain amounts of pressure, you can feel the clicks very much and it actually makes the reel shake! When I tried to take the reel apart to attempt to fix this, I found that the screws were extremely small and finding the proper screwdriver was quite a puzzle. And the very small screws used for the carbon fiber body strike me as a failure waiting to happen. Still love the reel, but with a couple of caveats.

I got a few good fish pulling the line and the drag feels sublime to me as per video. I do get what you are saying though re it "shaking" which is a by product of clicker being loud/powerful and the reel being super light. Re screw size, I don't think there was enough room to use something like m6 across as the thing is so small!

The only question i have - why to use such thin PE lune? The whole bebefit of BFS reels is usage of relatively powerful lines.

Hi Andrew, I've already ordered one. I hope the quality control by Histar is good and that mine is as good as yours seems to be. I noticed the reel has only 5 +1 ball bearings, but that doesn't bother me as long as the spool bearings are top quality. No doubt an important factor in the lower weight than the Aurora Air. Love your excellent reviews! 🎣
