Don’t jerk the blade boy! The only real estate that matters is the four odd feet between the blade and your tracks. Start your push slowly, these new machines have so much power that you have to force yourself to slow down. Being a good dozer operator is all about patience, do the task three times in your head before you even fire off. Young guys are so nutted up when they get in the saddle they have a hard time concentrating on the job. Sure is a nice machine though.

Not really, it has a full U blade, but he should be starting his cut from the back not the front that way he can swing his windrows into the slot and carry way more dirt in a blade full. If he was doing cut fill then cutting from the front and working his cut back, that way he his pushing between windrows all the time and carrying more dirt, when the cut is on grade then clean up from the back to the front sweeping loose material into the slots already made. Slot dozing , most efficient way to move dirt with a dozer.

@@rossgray3070Wow! Everybody's an expert. FYI, in this instance he is just "shaving" the top and pushing it into a pile. No slot dozing needed. What he is doing is just fine. That's a beautiful machine. Enjoy it for what it is.
