I swapped my tires out for some decent road tires and it’s been great all winter so far and held its own🤟🏻 it’s been washed well and often so I’ve had no issues with rust etc. great bike🤝🏼

Great little video, and we def need more videos on these bikes to help potential buyers. I bought the Bullit Hero last year, litrally just picked it up an hour ago from its 1st service. I'm had afew minor problems with mine, 1 being indicator stopped working afew weeks into ownership, but more recently the ignition stopped working, which has just been replaced under warranty. Only down side to not having a garage and I'm guessing cheap metals that have rusted quickly in the ignition barrel! (Yes I did have a bike cover on). Other than that I love it, so easy and comfy to ride, like yourself I have a full bike licence but just wanted something cheap that I could have abit of fun on and off road. I also made a short video afew weeks after getting mine and should really do an update.

People are quick to criticise Chinese built bikes claiming the are poorly built but are quite happy to shell out over a grand on a Chinese built (Apple/Samsung etc) mobile phone believing it is the finest engineering in the world!!!
@muleinthemidlands20054 жыл бұрын
Very good point. And this bike is amazing value for money compared with a phone! Pound for pound it's the most fun bike I've ridden in over 12 years of riding. Worse case scenario o get rid of it in 2 years and it's worth about £800. That's a loss of £1500 over 2 years, that's nothing for the amount of fun. I could spend that on a week away!

One tooth larger front sprocket would probably reduce the vibes and give it longer legs on regular roads between green lanes??

How’s the bike holding up mate? Mines coming tomorrow. At 31 the flashy super bike styling isn’t me anymore. Absolutely fell in love with the wasteland scrambler look

hi great video thanks for uploading it. I'm about to buy one of these form my first ever bike (doing my CBT in 1 month) your video has really helped me making a decision. I was also tempted by the Bullit Hero, Heral Brat 125, Mutt Razorback or the Maverick..... So ended up narrowing it down to the Maverick due to being 6'2" and i seem to fit it well. So would love to hear if you still have the Maverick and how it's fairing up/ any problems etc. all the best

Fantastic video thanks very much for the overview, I'm considering buying one in the next few days. Have you got any updates on how the bike has been over the past while. Did you run into any issues with it?

Hi I’m looking to get a bullit hero what’s top speed on flat road? How’s the agility of it
@muleinthemidlands20054 жыл бұрын
The Maverick is really agile, handles great, actually a lot better than I expected. Top speed is 60mph, maybe 65 down hill 😂 but it's quite vibey at that speed. Cruising at 50 is perfect. Thanks for watching.

Have a hero myself and if you change the exhaust to an open end you will feel the difference in power and get better acceleration and top speed i have hit 145 kph on mine

What type of exhaust did you change to, or did you just remove the end cap on the original exhaust? Thanks

Certainly looks the part , and can see why you love that bike , but it definitely is not a Bullitt hero. Check out the hp just for starters. Maverick ...9.8 hp , bullit hero...11.6 hp.
@paulsmith28554 жыл бұрын
Thanks for spotting that, I do find it strange that the Chinese donor motorcycle don't have the same engine fitted.
@pggp2733 жыл бұрын
Some manufacturers are more honest with the output figures than others. The only real way to find out is put it on the Dyno. In reality it is unlikely you would notice 1.5 hp
@TheSilviu8x3 жыл бұрын
@@pggp273 1.5hp is nearly 10% more power, which will net for the same amount of top speed. The same for the down low torque, which souch a light frame. The problem is not even that, it's a lottery for the build quality or better, the build accuracy. Other than that, i love the cheap cinese bikes, as i buy them used and rebuild them with a lot, actually, A LOT, room for improvement, fine tunning..

I've got a Bullit Hero 125 and now that the tyres have scrubbed in a bit I find it handles very well, it felt a bit darty in the steering When I first got it but now I've had it a couple of months I got used to chucking it about a bit, I'm sure that the hotter the exhaust gets the louder it gets and it gives lovely pops going up the gearbox every now and then, everyone comments on how good it looks, it's just coming up to it's first service and I'm well happy with it

Pity you didn't look at Bullit first they do the Hero 125 which is a maverick but they also do a Hero 250. Also Bullit is not herald which is good cause they are terrible as a company.
