New Bike Park less than 1 hour from the Las Vegas Strip

Let's check out the newest trails in the Las Vegas area at the Lee Canyon Ski Resort less than an hour from the strip! This is a soft opening, so only two trails were open to ride. Their blue flow trail, Peanut Butter & Flow, is open now and I gave them a few runs. Check it out! This is a great place to take the family if you are a Vegas local, or looking for something not on the strip for kids and families.

Found Lee canyon a couple of days ago on our way home from Arizona to Washington state . We had just left vegas on 95 rolling through the desert when we saw this random exist sign along side the road that said ski area 18 miles . I pointed out the exist sign to my wife as we rolled by it at 70 mph. Needless to say curiosity got the better of me a couple miles down the road and we ended up turning around . I have been to Las vegas many times but never imagined a ski resort would be so close . We had to check it out. I pictured in my mind a few short ski runs with tow ropes. We were pleasantly surprised to see it was a nice place with chair lifts . Although I love to ski and snow board I hoped it was a downhill bike park in the summer. We are so glad to see that it is . We’ll definitely be back to try it out. It was kind of ironic because we had our bikes in the truck and would of loved to go for a ride but were too early in the year for the bike park to be open. Cant wait. Hopefully we can add this to our regular places to ride.

Was up there today mainly so me and the wife could take dog for a stroll. Pleasantly surprised they’re getting the place set up for MTB. Love how you’re upfront, and humble, about how you’re going to run your content. Subscribed. Maybe see ya up there or on a local LV trail once I get a bike; been awhile since I’ve ridden and ready to get back at it!
